I have used Aegis products in the past and they absolutely work. I never had to deal with their customer service until my recent order, when it came missing 3 vertical rod. I called them but was unable to reach anyone due to reduction in hours due to Covid. I email them and got a reply the next day saying they have sent a replacement. Liphatech stands behind their product! Aegis RP is a proven design. Their lock mechanism and key is very easy to use and I have not had any failures. The RP will need to be attached to something heavy to make sure it doesn't get accidentally moved or played with by bigger animals/kids. All parts are inside an envelope taped to the inside of the bait station. If you are missing any items that should be in the envelope, email or call Liphatech and they will send you the missing part you need.

I received the rat station without a key. Without the key, the station is useless! I'm waiting for a response. 11/03/25

I run a growing vet clinic in our town and had noticed an increase in rodents around our clinic in recent months. We realized this had to be addressed, and soon. The Aegis RP bait station was recommended as being extremely effective for dealing with larger rodents and seems to work well in business settings like ours. We now have these deployed and hopeful these will address the problem. Early indications of activity look good, but we will see! If they continue to work well, I think we’ll be obtaining some more soon.

Bought 2 each didn't come with the key to open the bait station. With a you can do attitude, you can over come, but it's pretty annoying.

I just received this item. Pins are loose inside the container which has holes at either end. Pins need to be in a plastic bag so they will not fall out. Other than that, is fine.

I wrote initially that this came without key or rods and couldn't open it. Somewhat useless. Then I got an email within 12 hours of complaint a replacement was sent immediately and I received it within 3 days. Wish all companies used this model of customer service! The trap is perfect for our home in Florida where rats are like mice down here but I have to say I dealt with mice a lot better!

No paperwork or instrucuctions how. to use the trap. The trap came locked with the key inside. So I am not sure how to use it .

We have a woodshed so inevitably we have rats. Put this out about three weeks ago and haven't seen a single live rat since. Typically I see one or two scattering when I go to get firewood in the evening but since using this, I have only seen one and it was dead! Great product, easy to use, and professional quality. Highly recommend.
