MILTON 1626 Hose Ferrule Crimping Tool,Silver;black

I used this tool to make my own custom air line with quick disconnects throughout the garage. I put quick disconnects on the left and right side of the garage toward the front of the garage and two quick disconnects on the left and right side of the garage door. When working on my cars this allows me to use a short air hose without reaching over or around the cars. This was a better option for me than a hose reel. This Milton hose crimp tool works great.

Pricey but gets the job done. Easy setup and use, fixed a leaking air hose in less than a minute.

Excellent crimper, very easy to use, works great.

Works great for air hose and oxygen acetylene hoses. Make sure you set the correct tension so you don’t over crimp or under crimp. Start light and slightly increase until you find the right setting.

This device is solidly built. It performs excellent crimping. Make sure you follow the instructions on the ferrule size and you will be all set.

The casting should be higher quality given the price. They didn’t even bother to clean up the casting flash, it cut me pretty bad just picking it up out of the box for the first time. 20 seconds with a and file and it was done. I’m used to doing some cleanup (minus actual blood) with cheap Chinese stuff but not so cheap from Taiwan? Disappointing. Otherwise it has done its job well so far. I hope the casting holds up to shop duty.

Was a little disappointed that Milton manufacturers pnuematic accesories in China!! But worked as described as I crimped air hose to repair a Coates Tire Changer!! No more hissing leaks.

Used it to crimp ferrules on 5/8 OD hose. Worked perfectly. I won't be using this tool daily but it's a nice addition that will add some more versatility to my repair and restoration hobby.

I used one of these years ago making medical O2 hoses- I loved it then and I love it still. I'm very happy with my purchase :)
