Hacking: WiFi Hacking, Wireless Hacking for Beginners - step by step (How to Hack, Hacking for Dummies, Hacking for Beginners Book 1)

I don't know how this book averages so many stars. There are only 16 pages on Wi-Fi hacking! 8 of those pags are on WEP hacking, which practically no one uses. Then the 8 pages about WPA do not mention until later that the router must have WPS enabled. The book says to use Back Track 5, which is a very old Linux system that was replaced 5 years ago! And this book was published in 2016! I could Google and get more information, and definitely more current information!

The book definitely does what it advertises it does. It is a Beginner's starter guide to WI-FI hacking, so that one can better secure their own networks, and get started with ethical hacking. The book is 42 pages long, and basically covers two methods to hacking a WEP network, and a WPA network. Both of these methods are very simple, and is a good start into WI-Fi hacking to get a better understanding of how hacking works. If one who is a complete beginner at hacking, or ones a better idea of how someone can hack their network, this may not be a bad book to grab and keep on hand as a reference to these methods. however, the book definitely holds some flaws to it. First of all, the writing isn't very well done, and looks more like it was written for a blog than a published book. There are spelling and grammar errors in a few parts of the book. Also, I would say that the book is overpriced for what it actually gives you. It only offers the most bare-bones info and only two techniques for hacking. This info could have been gathered from a quick Google search, that wouldn't cost $10. I think if the book was closer to four-five dollars, it would be easier to justify.Overall though, I think the book is okay, and if you really want to get a brief and quick idea about how to hack, it's an alright option. I would keep my eye out for other options though.

Despite my experience in hacking (not only wifi hacking) i found this book very well written, but also very informative. If you are new to hacking this is a "must-read"; the process was well described which made it easy to follow. No matter how computer literate you are, you will be able to hack a Wi-Fi after reading this book!

This book is not worth the $6. It is poorly written, and contains only very basic information about 'WiFi' hacking. Learn from my error and skip it.

This book provides valuable information and it is clearly written with the novice in mind. I haven't had any previous experience with hacking but that didn't matter. It was easy to follow and understandable. Big thumbs up, would recommend!

It's a pamphlet!!!I bought this as an extra Christmas present for someone. Thankfully it was an extra, because to call this a 'book' is a joke....Don't waste your money

Das Buch hat mich interessiert, weil ich wissen wollte, wie sicher mein WLAN ist. Laut diesem Buch, kann man mit öffentlich verfügbarer Software, die WEP-Verschlüsselung (einfach) und die WPA-Verschlüsselung (mit genügend Zeit) überwinden, indem man automatisch das Passwort errät. Das Buch betont, dass dies selten legal ist! Man lernt leider nicht soviel darüber, wie WiFi funktioniert. Ein kleiner Trost: gegen WPA2-Verschlüsselung wird kein Angriff beschrieben.

The book is nothing but an internet article with content and index. How can Amazon allow such content on their website.
