BIC Evolution Cased Pencil, #2 Lead, Yellow Barrel, 24-Count (PGEYP241-BLK)

This pencil writes well, and erases well. Doesn’t leave eraser streak marks. They are more of a “softer pencil”. It is easier to break than your average yellow pencil. However, you still need to intentionally bend it to break it.

These are very nice. I love the fact that these have white erasers. That's exactly why I purchased the package. While I really don't write with pencils as an adult every day practice, good standard pencils are nice to have around. As a coloring adult, I prefer colored pencils. Because colored pencils are actually more similar to a crayon than a regular pencil, they can quickly blunt sharpener blades. Running regular pencils through each helps maintain blades. I usually buy super cheap regular pencils with pink erasers, but pink erasers are terrible, and quickly harden. I've had some really old white erasers, and they never seem to harden. Often, when I grab a standard pencil, I also need an eraser. These are a bit more expensive than what I usually buy, but I think it will be worth it. Now I won't have to hunt for a good white eraser, because one is on the end of each pencil.

We ordered two sets for Back To School and these were awesome. They come in lightweight bundles that are pre-sharpend, at a fantastic price. Definitely buying again for the mid-year revamp of supplies.

Always love a great Bic product, they are soft material which makes writing difficult for heavy handed people. Overall good pencils but just a word of advice they are soft.

I love these pencils! They are my new favorite. Really love how much longer in between having to sharpen. The wood do not splinter when I sharpen them. Writes smooth. You would think because the lead do not wear down fast that the lead color would not be dark enough but these are truly dark and last longing.

Bought these pencils with some certainty that they’d be proper writing utensils as they’re BIC products. They hold up nice but the lead feels like I’m writing with wax. The lead is not soft that I can glide and write with ease. I actually have to press hard to write, with the results looking very light. These pencils are all looks but function poorly. I’m bummed they didn’t work out :(
