NO,,,not designed for use on any hard flooring including tile.  Best machine I have ever owned for cleaning carpets.  Dry in a good hour as long as you don't over wet.  Very strong suction and machine is not loud.

My machine I just received that was ordered on Dec 5, 2019--it has been a nightmare and that's an understatement!!! to register---I tried to register it using the registration card that was included which gave you 3 options  on how to register--I chose on-line.  Well little did I know  there is a commercial division (which is listed inside the manual)--I was only going by what was on the warranty card  I haven't used the machine yet so I did not look at the manual  MY MACHINE (yes, the physical machine itself has a label on it (on the base of handle near on/off switch) with the model #  10N2    1925700294FXB (serial#)   When I entered this for the warranty  it would not accept of course I was registering it at the WRONG DIVISION unknowingly--I then called and a woman listened to my dilemma and advised that I should use the MODEL# BG10 plus the same serial #-----she said she would register it for me if it wouldn't work--that number entered also did not work.  I wanted written confirmation that it was registered not just word of mouth, so then I called the commercial division again and yes you probably guessed it!!!----NO Those previously given model numbers are incorrect!!  The right one is 86T3 plus same serial#  As you see it's the model# that is the problem----Also I was told that this machine should be called "Professional"  not "Commercial" even thought Commercial is what is on the manual  So I was sent a link by Bissell Customer Care to enter my numbers and tah, duh--------NONE OF THEM WORKED!!! so here I am in limbo again not knowing if mine is registered for an  only 1-year warranty!!!   Given the track record of some of these carpet machines, there's no way I'm going to NOT REGISTER them.  Before this I had a Hoover All-Terrain Steam carpet cleaner (no longer available (I can see why) which when we first used it leaked water like a broken dam----we couldn't find out the problem we're trying this and that to no avail and finally my husband ripped it completely  apart and found  YES!!!,  I broken chintzy piece of thin plastic that was sort of like an o- ring.  A brand new cleaner that was useless and destructive with all the leaking water   I'm beginning to think there are no real Brands anymore just cheap junk with a label slapped n with not the right numbers, manuals, web sites.  That's it!!!!!  People are really being taken and robbed by some of these companies with no recourse.  Sad!!!!  Don't need this at Christmas!!

Is this better than the bissell big green deep cleaning machine professional grade?

I have no knowledge of a commercial grade Bissell big green cleaning machine.  The Big Green Deep Cleaning Machine is a household unit as far as I know.  The BG10 is a commercial unit used in most of the major hotels and motels nationwide.

Can this be used with the BISSELL 2X Professional Deep Cleaning Formula ? what's the recommended cleaning formula  for BG10?

Yes the Bissell 2 Deep Clean is the recommended actually.  The oxy version is good two.  It says to use two tank cap fulls of that solution mixed remainder of hot water per tank refill.   Expect to do something like a 15x12 area or less per tank refill
