can this amp be directly attached to ipod?

never tried but if it has a red and white rca input. you can buy an adaptor that goes from ipod directly into it then into speaker. This is a low cost high output amp. I have three of these. At 99.00 you could replace it every year for 3-5 years for the price of some the real expensive ones. I have it hooked up in my boat to 8 speakers and it rocks the beach-. JL audio speakers Your best bet is to buy this and good speakers.

I would only run speakers on this amp and get a single channel amp for sub. Do not put too much pressure on adjustment screws on this amp. I damaged one on mine.
