We justs upgraded from a bed side newborn cot to a larger cot for our 1 year old. As a result we had to get all new bedding and a waterproof sheet/ cover is the most important one. It fits easily over a standard cot sized mattress. Ours was 60x 120 and it slipped over and stayed secure. You then add a standard cotton sheet on top. The protector does have a right and wrong surface so make sure to pay attention when putting it on as it will make a difference to the little one. It has a soft cover on one side and not so soft on the other to stop anything soaking through. We have had one heavy nappy that overflowed but a quick change of sheets and pat down and her bed was good to go. Noise wise we have had covers that sounded like a windbreaker every time the little one rolled over and as a result they wouldn't sleep well. This has no noise and the little one slept happily. The fabric feels soft and quiet, not plasticky, so it’s comfortable to sleep on and doesn’t affect how my sheets lay. It’s easy to wash and dries quickly, which makes it very practical for everyday use. The protector hasn’t lost shape or waterproofing after multiple washes so far. If you want solid protection for your mattress without sacrificing comfort, this does exactly what it promises.

Purchased as puppy has the occasional accident on the bed. Originally had washable incontinence sheets down but they kept moving under the bottom sheet but otherwise great absorption. This bottom sheet is staying in place and doesn’t make a noise when lying on, little disappointed that the waterproof section doesn’t run to the full end of a king size bed so risks mattress getting wet in part. Not tested the waterproof element as yet but definitely more comfortable than the incontinence sheets as stays in place
