This pink Learning Resources cash register has been one of those rare finds that truly makes a difference. My daughters loved it from the moment they opened it. I use this in my 2nd grade classroom and my class loves this cash register. It’s very durable. It’s helping all students learn their coins, earn money, make change, and buy treasure box items (which I also purchased on Amazon). A lot of my students asked their parents to buy this for them! Overall this cash register is a great addition to my kid’s house center and gets played with most days! Pros: -realistic money, especially the coins. My kids love these coins, and they extend play to “robbers” and “pirates” -simplistic design: I appreciate the register simply being a calculator. Very useful! My four year old works on his math skills while my two year old is still satisfied with button mashing. Basic design with limited noise promotes creative play. -the note pad: my kid love to write receipts. Very appreciative that the spot for the note pad is perfect for a stack of post it’s. -traditional bell chime when drawer opens -durable, solid construction -credit card swipe spot: because let’s be honest, kids see us swipe our debit cards all the time - they like to do this too. Cons: -coins do fly everywhere if you don’t use your hand to slow down the drawer popping open -I 100% would have sacrificed true size bills for four slots. My kids like organizing the money and it’s obnoxious having to combine two of the bills -somehow there are several coins which are stuck in some abyss inside the register and I cannot get them out. I don’t know what events led up to this issue (as in what my kids did to make this happen), but it is annoying that they cannot be worked out of the toy

My daughter absolutely loved it. The bills, coins, and card feature make it feel very realistic and fun. She enjoys playing store, and at the same time she’s learning how to add and subtract without even realizing it. I love that it combines play and learning. The fact that it’s solar-powered is also a huge plus. Definitely a great purchase.

My daughter loves playing with the pretend cash register at the library so I thought for Christmas we could get her one of these! So far it has been one of the most played with gifts from Christmas! She loves the pretend money and getting to press all the buttons and open and close the drawer. Be aware the coins do you like to fly out of the drawer whenever you open it. But that seems to be the case with any toy that has little pieces to it! This will be a great toy that will last for years to come!

A mom blogger on Instagram said this specific cash register was the best one for kids, and so I got it for my 4 year old niece. I agree with her - it is sturdy, the money looks very alike to real money instead of playbucks, the coins especially are impressive and have the same texture as real coins (such as dimes having ridged edges), and the credit card makes a little ding sound when run through the slot. It's lightweight to carry and comes with a note pad which helps with writing "receipts" to practice numbers, and the register is a functioning calculator. Highly recommend!

I have four young kids and I’m so happy I bought this! They all love it, easy for the six year old and almost two year old to operate. It’s good quality, great coat and just fun! Would buy again!

This pretend play calculatior is overall a good quality product. However, one must note that the colour is not the bright red and blue as seen in the picture. Its is infact dull maroon and dull deep blue, which was a put off for my daughter. Also, when the 'open' button is pressed, the drawer opens with a jerk, that some coins simply jump and fall out of the drawer each time.

I love this cash register machine - The sound and the design is really like the old-school cash registers that they have eons ago. I like it that it has the calculator function which makes it educational (Note: the parent/teacher has to design learning experiences to maximise this function). The only downside is that the cash drawer pops out really abruptly and forcefully, often throwing out the coins with it. The children have learned how to mitigate the situation by putting their hands over the drawer before hitting the "open" button. The "cash" is in American Dollars. So you will probably have to improvise if you would like to use the currency of your country.

Bought this for my granddaughter's bakery shop. She is so proud to swap her "baked goods" for money and ring the purchase up on the register. Love how the bell rings as the drawer is opened. Number buttons are large enough for chubby toddler fingers to use easily, and the working calculator is a learning tool for older children. Only downside was I had to hunt out toy money which was relevant to us as the supplied cash was in US currency.

I had to replace the older play cash register for my grandkids as it did not work anymore. I chose this one for the high reviews and I was happy it was worth the purchase. The register is big and sturdy. It is very well made and the drawer opens consistently. This one comes with USD currency too!
