Rack Mount Fan - 4 Fans - 1U 19" Rackmount with Adjustable Temperature Control and Digital Display - Tupavco TP1701

I bought two of them to get the harbor of my tube stereo amplifier quickly. They work great and the amp runs about 40 degree cooler.

Seller gets perfect 5 stars. The item is exactly as shown and does what it was made to do. PROS: Solid metal construction and has some weight to it. Four temperature controlled cooling fans that move a lot of air. CONS: cheap control display panel. Vague instructions. Questionable quality control. For what you pay for this item and what it is (value for the money) this is a very decent product. Solid all metal construction with 4 fans that move a lot of air. The temperature sensor is super sensitive and the display is very visible. Comparable products cost a little more without the temperature control feature requiring you to manually turn it on and off. My item did not work out of the box. I emailed the seller who responded the same day and was sending a replacement next business day. No questions asked, haggle free process. These things happen I just wanted a working replacement but Rebecca went beyond and even compensated me for my time. A+ customer service and now I have a pretty decent rack fan. The seller stands behind their product and the sale. Thanks to Amazon and sellers like these.

I'm glad that I opted for a fan with four motors! The fan installed quickly into my home network rack and I love that it is temperature triggered. Best of all, I don't hear it when it kicks on or is running (at least I don't notice it).

Works as advertised, cooling unit turns on at an adjustable temperature and runs for a user defined time. Provided needed cooling for my server cabinet at a favorable price. The only issue I took note of was the broken nuts on the top panel. Fortunately I had some spares and it was an easy fix.

Extremely easy to install. A little loud (my server is kept in a closet, and I can hear it starting up with the door closed). Only complaint is the manual (2 pages)

There four cage nuts and bolts on top of this cooler three of them were broken. One of the cage nuts was just loose in inside the cooler. After opening the cooler one of the wires was broken, the loose cage nut maybe? One of the mounting fins was bent. After installation the cooling box sagged. I soldered the wire. I used some of the cage nuts from my rack "perfect fit" to repair the top cover. I used pliers to repair the bent fin. The packaging was fine.. no tears, no dents, corners were all good. As soon as I picked it up I could hear the nut on the inside moving around. I can only assume they sent it like this knowing it was bad? After all the repairs (i needed it waiting for another was not an option) It seems fine. Works well, as expected. It does feel.... cheap, not a quality build. I am very forgiving, however, this was way over the line. I feel like I bought a used broken cooler at new price. Buyer beware, you have been warned.

Originally this worked well. Then after about 1 moth the fans got very noisy and 1 by 1 stopped working and burned out. Therefore it is to the point it is now unusable. What kind of warranty??? It is not even 1 year old. I have had fans last 10 years without failure.

Bought for new AV system to protect our investment. Easy to mount in the rack and thermal switch works great.

This product offers a programmable temperature control, which is nice, but it can only read in Fahrenheit which makes it unsuitabe for Canadian customers. When the manufacturer was contacted they said that this product was only made for distribution in the US and they don't know how it got onto amazon.ca. The unit needs to be used with a rail due to it's weight, but unlike most other rack mount devices, no allowances were made in it's height for that. The side flanges are welded on, so when they don't line up with the rails, there is nothing you can do. I put the rails in upside down under the unit to offer support.

Funciona muy bien, enciende cuando detecta calor ya que trae un sensor que lo puedes ubicar donde sabes que se genera mucho el calor y prenderá más pronto.
