This is not a working device

I was hoping to obtain a working reproduction. While this has a number of plates, there are not the requisite holes to do a reading. So, its just decorative. Also, the dial part is only 3 1/5 inches across so it is smaller than advertised. Plates are only partially imprinted so they are difficult to read. They are also bent. The
