The best cough remedy
In February I started to have a truly terrible cough. I was sure it wasn't covid. I didn't have a fever and didn't have any trouble breathing between coughing spells. Also it lasted for 3 months. I'm 76 with comorbidities, so if it had been covid I probably would be dead. Cough drops did nothing but sugar my teeth. The usual cough (OTC) Robitussen, Flonase, or common allergy meds, Cetirizine, Fexofenadine were not helpful. For the first few weeks I coughed till my ribs hurt and used about 200 tissues a week. I think the coughing begat more coughing. Even a neti pot didn't help. Then I found Delsym. It was the only thing that gave me a few hours of relief, then more hours of relief, and now no cough at all. It surely worked for me. I hope only few of you ever had the experience. If you do I hope you find this helpful.

Helps with pain management and tastes ok.
I need a formulation of dextromethorphan that doesn't also have an expectorant (as I take it to help with pain management). The Delsym works well. It is convenient to have the 12 hour formula. And the grape flavor is reasonably good. It is rather expensive, but the generic 12 hour formulas only seem to come in orange flavor, which I don't like very much.

This really works.
Flavor is great and the product works well. Husband and I both got the flu and the cough was on going until we found Delsym. Had to order from Amazon the local stores were out of stock. Seems like everyone else knows how well it works.
