I had my other steamer for several years and it was starting to crack. I researched and settled on this one because of its reviews and has two tiers. Each tier can hold eight eggs for boiled eggs. This is mainly what I use it for. After the timer goes off, I put the eggs in cold ice water until they cool. The peeling then comes off with ease. I am very pleased with my purchase and recommend it.

This is the second steamer I purchased.. Its great and I would highly recommend it. I didn't give 5 stars because Im sure there are things that can be improved like the element that heats it gets scale over time and doesnt function as well but I love it..
