Great quality! True fit, very clean looking

This was my husband's favorite of all the (many) shorts we tried for our son's new uniform as he enters Kindergarten. Size: These fit him great in the waist and butt. They pull up and down easily. He has some junk in the trunk, so we often have to size up. Not the case with these, we ordered a 6 and they fit great in the waist/hips/butt. They fit just above the knee, so he will outgrow the length soon. I ordered the 7 just last week, and the fit is perfect and will definitely take up into fall. (We live in the south, so October may still be shorts weather!) The 7s aren't too big in the waist, but give me that extra little length. (The photo is him in a size 6). Based on the fit for my child, I don't think these would work for super-skinny kids. Color: These are a little darker than I would like. We tried probably 7 or 8 different brands and these were by far the darkest navy, sometimes appearing black. They'll work for our school and maybe fade with more washing. Feel/Look: These feel comfy and not too rigid. They look exactly like standard, button/zipper shorts, so we'll be buying them again! For sizing reference: we also tried the French Toast brand, and they were much too long/thin for our tastes. The 6 was too narrow for his hiney, but the 7 was soooo long - almost capri length. We also really liked the Unik brand, which are probably 2 inches longer.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Best shorts for kids. My son still learning how to take up and put back on. This makes it easy for bathroom runs too

These are true to size and perfect for a school uniform

I have searched everywhere for shorts that fit my son right and these did the job! He is tall, thin and long waisted. He has small legs but any weight he carries is a little in his tummy =) To get the waist to be comfortable for him, the legs, hips and inseam were all too long. To get the rest to fit, the waist would be a little too tight. These shorts fit him perfectly and he was happy they have pockets. The material is nice and sturdy and doesn't wrinkle very easily. They are durable too. The only thing I wish they had was a faux zipper piece of material in the front to make them look a little dressier. I just ordered him some pants and I hope they fit as well as they do!

My daughter needs uniform shorts and most bermuda girls uniform shorts are clasp or button and have a low seat so they are very uncomfortable for her every time she sits down bc they come down. Also bermuda shorts are tight in the thigh even though my daughter is very slim. But these are easy to get on and off and roomy in the thigh. These are your very basic uniform shorts and not very "fashionable" looking if that is what you are looking for. But they do the job and no complaints from my daughter.

I always get my grandson a pair for Christmas. He loves them.😁
