Salome Butt Lifting Shapewear Post Surgery Compression Garment | Stage 2 Open Bust Body Shaper for Women

I am 5’9”, size 20/22 with a 52” bust 41” waist and 51” hips - so, a big girl with a big upper belly and big breasts. I came across this faja after watching PinupDollAshleyMarie on YouTube, her video called “Shaping Your Body With Shapewear”. If you’re like me, you’ve tried different shapewear that only kind of worked and ended up being a waste of money which only ever resulted in an unflattering rounded sausage tube shape, rather than enhancing my hips and butt and cinching my waist like I wanted. So I was delighted when Ashley Marie gave a very in-depth review of this specific item, including advice on how to get this thing on. Like a lot of others, I really hesitated spending this much on an item off amazon sight-unseen but decided to trust the results i had seen from Ashley Marie’s video and the other reviewers who insisted that the size chart is correct, and I’m here to tell you that I’m so pleased that I did. This thing seems ungodly when you first look at it - absurdly small - but trust me when I say if you follow the waist and hips measurements for the size chart, then you WILL be able to squeeze your body into this thing. I very much suggest watching Ashley Marie’s video for instructions on how to get this on your body because it is definitely a physical struggle - you WILL sweat lol. If you can’t be bothered to watch her video, her tips are: -don’t lotion or lube before, it’s not necessary -step into it and get it up around your thighs as much as possible -roll up the leg cuffs with the adhesive backing, to make sliding it over your legs much easier -use a scooping motion to get the butt part over your butt, also use lunging motions to get it over your thighs and butt -really engage those muscles to get the front clasps closed -get some help to pull the back up around your shoulders -just watch the video My own experience: This thing is TIGHT. But I LOVE the results. I wore this for a few hours around the house, over the course of a few days, just to get used to it. I was really thrilled to see how cinched my waist looked, from the side AND from the front! I am a little taller, so this definitely required me to loosen the straps as far as they will possibly go. And I will tell you now - if you have a fat cat and/or are over 5’8” you will get some MAJOR cameltoe. I had to sort of pull it down while shoving my fat around lol. There is a crotch opening for restroom usage but it’s too small, don’t even try to use it without making the hole bigger. Just cut it bigger and stitch it up. Leg adhesive backing did a great job and didn’t ride up or budge at all. Wore this to a rave, and it was sweaty city - but that didn’t matter because I felt secure enough to dance all night and felt amazing doing it. Did the straps did into my shoulder? Big time. Is this hot, constricting, uncomfortable, and hard to get in and out of? Oh yeah. Is it worth it? Absolutely. Get this!

I was nervous to purchase a faja online, but I paid attention to the reviews stating it runs small and to size up one from what you’d actually measure on the sizing chart. I’m 5’5”, 188lbs, 36” waist which puts me in the XL, but I ordered the 2X and it’s perfect. It is a little difficult to get on the very first time, but then it loosens up just slightly. The hooks have been durable. The material is thick and supportive. It doesn’t look bulky under clothing at all, and it helps “bump” your booty instead of squishing it like a lot of spanx and other garments seem to do. Only complaints I have are that the crotch is a little difficult to fasten back after using the bathroom, and the straps over the shoulders are super tight! However, $5 bra strap extenders from Walmart fixed that issue. I had a full Tummy Tuck 8 weeks ago, and I’ve been using this for about 5 weeks now. My plastic surgeon was even impressed by this garment at my 6 week check up. However, this Tummy Tuck was a revision from another one. My first was in April 2017 when I had muscle repair and liposuction, and I don’t think I could have made this garment work then because of the pain I was in, at least not until maybe 6 weeks post op. But this surgery didn’t include muscle repair or liposuction, just tightening of the skin, so it’s been perfect for keeping swelling down since about week 3, and shaping. After wearing this for these last 5 weeks, I could probably go down into an XL now. I’ve attached photos of me not wearing it, wearing it, the straps with the extenders, and then wearing it under clothing. Hope this helps someone! :)

Will order a smaller size… not true to size for me. I will need to go down a size to receive the effect of it. This item is very expensive and shouldn’t fit as if I have a swim suit on.

I'm 5'4", 185-195lbs (fluctuates at that time of the month) and my measurements are 46-36-43. I typically wear a size 14 and large in tops. By the size chart pictured (not Amazon's size chart) I should be between a Large and XLarge. BUT, I got freaked out by all the reviews and ordered an XL and a 2XL. The 2XL was delivered today. I was psyched to try it on. Yeah, it looked like it was made for a 14 yr old tween. But my spanx look like a toddler's onesie so I didn't panic. Here's how I got in: I turned the garment inside out and upside down after lengthening the bra straps completely. Then, I stepped into the faja one leg at a time. The legs are quite roomy but whatever. I got scared because I really didn't think it was going to go over my butt. But it did, and I pulled it up over my belly (that sucked). Then, I turned the fan on (already sweaty), laid down on the bed and pulled the sides to stretch them. I hooked each hook one at a time. The first ones were the worst but after that they got pretty easy. Almost too easy. I zipped each time I accomplished a new hook. And took a few breaths to pause for each one. I was a bit sad when I saw a few bulges and bunching. BUT that means I need a smaller size! I'm experienced with shapewear. I know that the fact that it only took 10 minutes of battling to get this thing on the first time out the gate means that over the next few wears, this thing won't do it's job. It will stretch and mold and would be a waste of $$. I should add too, that I'm on my period, I ate a big brunch and spent the weekend partying for my sister's Bachelorette right before I put the thing on. So, I can't wait for the XL to come in. Because I think that's gonna be the one. I will update with pics if it works. Don't listen to the other reviews. Order your size. Unless you carry ALL of your weight in the middle. Then, I don't know, you do you. Good luck boys and girls! UPDATE: The XL came in and fit perfectly. It was a little difficult to get on, but ended up fitting better than the 2X. It gave me that hourglass shape I was looking for. I should note, the black faja seems to be cut differently than the beige. So be forewarned

I'm adding my height & weight in hopes that it helps others. After recently having a baby, I currently weigh 183 and I'm 5'5". I purchased the 3x after reading reviews and it fits great. Mind you, I have to pull the material together to get it zipped up but once it's on, it's comfortable and works as designed. It's comfortable in the thigh area and doesn't pull at my shoulders and tucks in my tummy. Despite the high price, I paid close to $50, I would pay it again. I also purchased a pair of spanx Skinny Britches brand Open-Bust Mid-Thigh Bodysuit and the spanx didn't even come close to this brand. If your looking to buy one item that works well, I'm recommending that you try this one. editing: I have owned and worn this shaper almost everyday for 6 mths now, I can say this still holds it's shape.*note: I always wear underwear under it. My only gripe is that the straps tend to slip off their hooks at shoulder area when I go to the bathroom and take this item off/pull this item down but it's not a concern. You can always buy a super tight smaller size or even go with your regular size, but I can't imagine how people get their sharper back on after hitting the girls room at the office. * if you need to lay down or get someone's help to put it on, well that just isn't going to happen at work. I believe that this sharper does run 2 sizes smaller than what you normally wear. It's the best shape wear I've ever owned and I'm contemplating purchasing another. I am reading people posting neg reviews and most of them saying it's too small..* take the other users reviews to heart, I really think most people WILL find it too small if you order your normal size. It's not going to be useful to you if you can't zip it up.

Ordered size based off of the sizing chart and my measurements. The torso part of the faja was snug, could have been a little smaller. But the lower half was WAY too big! The thigh area was so lose. Ordered a smaller size and returning this one. Over all, size chart is way off. UPDATE: ordered the other faja style with the longer leg and supposed to have more compression. Once again went off size chart and read reviews, since the 3xl was too big on the other style, I choose a 2xl. I received it and it was difficult to put on the very first time, once again, the legs was way too big! Not on my thighs, but from the knee up a few inches. I’m by far a small person. I am 5’6”, weigh 235 lbs and my measurements are 46 - 40 - 53 without the faja, with the faja I am measuring 46 - 40 - 50. The second and third time I put it on, it takes a couple minutes without any problem. I’m able to take it off and on to use the bathroom, and from what I’ve been told, a faja should take some work to get in and out of. So I’m really not sure if I should size down one or two more sizes. If I originally ordered a 3xl, and this 2xl doesn’t fit, should I go down to a l or xl?? I’m just confused..

I got this for postpartum. It arrived today and I just put it on. So far, the only reason I give it 4 stars is because I have no idea how i will be able to go to the bathroom! lol It does have a crotch hole, but not only does that mean you have to go commando, but it also means you will probably pee all over yourself, and you can forget about going #2 lol Size-wise...I scoured the reviews and glad I did because if I had gone by the height and weight size on the chart (I'm 5'4'' 134 pounds), I would've ended up with a Small and that would have never ever fit! I went by my waist and hips measurements: waist 34 and hips 38. That means that one measurement put me at a Small, and the other put me at a Medium. Per the reviews, I sized up, which was key. Even with a Medium, it was not totally easy to get this thing on, but I expected that given the purpose of a compression faja. I thought the butt outlines would bother me because they I thought they would make my butt look fake, but they didn't at all! Basically, if you don't have much back there, like me, it will make it look naturally perky but it won't add anything fake-looking, which I loved. Tip for putting it on: lay on your back and do one hook at a time starting from the bottom. After one hook, zip up the zipper; do another hook, zip it up a little more; next hook, zip, and repeat. This helped me a ton. In conclusion, this thing is tight as hell, the material is really good quality, and I think it will do it's job. My only complaint will be the bathroom issue, but I think you'll run into that same issue with any full-body faja. UPDATE: Just by the 3rd time of using it, it's significantly easier to put on than the 1st and 2nd time. So don't give up! UPDATE 2: I've now been using it for a month and it is fantastic! Getting on and off is no problem, even for going to the bathroom (I don't even use the little hole, I just take the whole thing off cause it's that easy now!). I did put different straps on it though cause the ones it came with dug into my shoulders too much. Love it and will probably get one in black soon. Changing from 4 to 5 stars now that going to the bathroom is a nonissue.

I typically wear a medium in shirts and a size 10 in jeans. I purchased the XL and it was perfect. I took the advice of another reviewer for the initial try-on. I laid on the floor and did the hook then zip, hook then zip method. It worked just fine. I thought I was gonna pass out, but I made it through. After the initial try-on, I was able to just stand and hook and zip. The hooks are pretty reinforced. There's no "give" when you hook it that causes you to wonder if it's going to come unhinged and put someone's eye out! I did wonder if it really made any difference when I put on my clothes. I'm familiar with wearing waist cinchers ( I like the huggy feeling ) and tend to wear one most days. I didn't have to wonder long. My husband asked me if I'd been eating lately and then told me whatever I was doing to not stop. When he kept complimenting my butt I knew something was up! He NEVER compliments my butt - well...because I'm pretty darn butt free! The kicker was when my 16 y/o daughter slapped it and followed it up with a dab! So, yeah - I think I'll be purchasing another. Just curious whether the black version is made differently or not. I love the way the beige is made. The length of the leg portion helps to smooth and hides under thin pencil skirts and leggings. Cons? None really. If I had to pick something, it'd have to be the straps. I have longish legs and my torso is pretty short with a DDD bust and the straps sort of rub against my inner arm/chest and they're not long enough. I need to replace them because they dig into my shoulders a bit and disconnect here and there. They do adjust, but I'm not sure for whom. Geesh, I just re-read my self-description and I sound horrible! LOL - long legs, flat butt, no torso...goodness! Anyway, this shaper/trainer does wonders and helps with my posture. Love it!

This is the 3 faja salomé that I buy and there's no doubt that it's an excellent quality. They are high compression, a bit hard to get in but once you're used to it's OK. I started last year wearing xxL and now I fit into an M. Of course it does not do miracles but it helps with a healthy diet and exercise if possible. I would buy again
