These are GREAT!!!! They work so well I ordered another set to keep though out my shop and garage. They will pick-up small items as well as big items. They are strong, light weight, and really hold a grip. You can't beat the price for what they do. Great value and no cheap material.

As an octogenarian I find it more and more difficult to pick up object from the floor and have been employing grabbers more frequently. I've had experience with many, from cheap versions with poor control over the grabbers that have suction cups on the clamping tips, that can't pick up small objects or grip larger ones. And then there are these, the very best out there. Starting with a comfortable ergonomic grip (that can be adequately held with the thumb and 4th and 5th fingers), the trigger (which can be most easily activated by the index and middle fingers in unison) has precise control over the jaws, because they are connected by a thin stainless steel cable, not just a string as on so many others. The aluminum shaft is sturdy but light weight. The best part of these grabbers, however, are the curved jaws, straightening near the tips, coated with a very soft and flexible rubbery material that conforms easily around the smallest item: a dime, pill, scrap of paper, or even a crumb on the floor. Their curvature also permits picking up, in the belly of the curvature, empty aluminum cans or soft drink bottles, or even full ones because of the power provided by the steel cable. The jaws can be pulled out and rotated 90 degrees to allow reaching in narrow vertical or horizontal spaces to accommodate whatever orientation is most comfortable for your hand. I've purchased 4 sets of 2 grabbers and have them strategically placed in different rooms of the house and in the work garage. I even gave one to my granddaughter, who has 3 children with lots of small toys on the floor. These are the best grabbers I've seen out there. They continue to work reliably; I've never had a breakage. My multiple purchases are only because I've found another place where it would be useful. This is one item to which I can give my highest recommendation.

I originally purchased this unbelievable marvel back in 2018. I have owned a bunch of different types, due to my disability, I have some mobility issues. The shark style of grabbers has a screw and peg at the end, great for sliding packages, and a magnet to pick up metal items. For picking up small items and cans it is not very good. The other style has the jaws design and is great for picking up small items and heavy cans off of shelves. The head swivels 90 degrees to either vertical or horizontal which covers about anything you will need to lift. Some styles extend and others fold, unfortunately these don't seem to be able to carry heavy weights, over a 1 lb can.. Some have lights on the end, good in low light situations, but have to be turned on and off with a slide switch on the end with the jaws. All of these have benefits and shortfalls, so to do everything, you need to have a mix of all the above. One style fits great on my wheelchair, while others don't, so it is a trail and error method, I own many different styles and sizes because I hate not being able to be independent. It cost me a lot of money, but I got an education in longevity and issues with usage. This RMS unit is the best in its "class", with a number of times trying, I learned how to pick up a dime off the floor, amazing!! I could not learn how to do this with and other brands. I can also pick up small washers that I use with my hobby RC trucks. You can pick up large tomato item cans, the 29 ounce type, you need good hand strength, but I found this impossible with other brands, could be me, or not. I finally had to buy a replacement, the wire that makes it work finally stretched to the point that the jaws are about 1/8" short of touching. Other brands use a heavy duty looking cord, easier to stretch and not as strong. I believe I got my moneys worth out of this grabber, I owned it almost 5 years, use it at least 10 times a day, it fits below the handle of my walker, on the crossbar, so it is always at my side anytime I need to use it. Nobody has paid me or given me any free samples. So I give you the above information freely and at my own cost. I love this thing so much for the freedom it has given me, it has made my life easier. I always give honest reviews, or non at all, so believe me that this grabber is a winner. I also have the shorter version of this, I have it hanging in our pantry so my wife can use it to grab the things she cannot reach.

I'm glad I bought into the positive reviews and purchased this two pack! I'm younger, but consistently use grabbers for a number of different tasks, especially for a longer reach, but most are not really good picking up heavy things or items that you don't want to/shouldn't drop (an aquaintance uses one to work the HVAC controls on the other side of a gate so he doesn't have to go in and out of his dog gate). I needed another option for my sister who has mobility issues and says none of the the grabbers work. I was out of options but decided to give this one a try; it came as a two pack so I'd hoped that my mom would give it a try too and replace her old one which has limited use (it was an arbitrary NO from her so I kept the second one and use it often). Although my sister insists it won't pick up round things, I initially showed her that I could pick up full soda cans, half gallon round bottles of milk, coins, pens, paper, etc. Don't follow her lead; try to pick up everything you may need within reason (except - again items that you don't want to or shouldn't drop including fragile items) as it seems to be incredibly useful. One point to remember is to keep a strong grasp/grip as if your hand or arm is limp, anything with any sort of weight, even lighter weight, is going to fall or pull gripper down! I especially like that the end section with the pinchers can be pulled out and turned a quarter turn for a new direction of grabbing as some items are easier to pick up with perpendicular pinchers while others are better suited for elongated ... parallel? straight pinchers. It took a me a few times to understand the process of pulling out the pinchers end section, twisting quarter turn then pushing back to reseat in the direction you want to use the grabbers; that could be a point that breaks down quickly. Also, it has a long length, which is great at times where you need a longer reach, BUT that again, may be a negative, especially when picking up heavier or awkward items as it results in less control and strength on the part of the grabber and personal strength. I gave it a three star on sturdiness as it feels flimsy; that is why I didn't purchase it locally! Overall, though, I'm glad I listened to the positive reviews and purchased the two pack (it is a little expensive, but I'm not sure if cost works out higher than for other grabbers - the price jus seems very high!)

These are great. They are well made and have a strong hold when gripping something. I use one to grab the clothes out of the back of the deep dryer. Love them

I had hip replacement surgery and read that these grabbers might be useful. They are wonderful! I've got one in the front of the house in the kitchen and one of the back of the house near the bathroom. I find that they pick up the littlest things and they do it so well. They won't damage anything because they have a rubberized tip, which is washable as well and I don't think they will rust if they get wet or you wash them for any reason.. If I had it to do again and wanted to invest, I would buy the combination of the long grabber and the shorter one being sold – one set for for both the front and the back of the house! Sometimes, when I use the grabber, I just drop whatever I've picked up directly in the sink or in the garbage, if I'm near it, but if not, my arm ( 5'4" woman) is "almost" too short to reach the end of the grabber and catch whatever it is. Still, with a long stretch of the arm, I'm able to do it. I'm finding that a short grabber would've worked just as easily for certain things, especially if you're seated. I was missing petting my cats and they were wondering, how come "Mom" isn't touching/petting us as much? So, the thought occurred to me that I would try the grabber and see what happened! I gently put the grabber on one of the cats and squeezed lightly, going up and down her back. She loved it! In the video posted. I tried it on my other cat as well and he was just as receptive. Neither one was scared or standoffish,which surprised me! They both seemed to love their "rubberized massages"!!! Just amazed at the smallest things it can pick up. I've even picked up a thread on the floor! I know these will come in handy after surgery as well. I think anyone with a bad back or a big stomach (can't bend down easily ) or a surgical procedure that involves being careful in terms of bending or reaching, will love these! ....And your kitties or dogs might benefit as well! They are made well and really do the trick, providing a helping "!hand".

I like that this one doesn't have the middle section divided like the telescopic ones do. I bought one of those before and it was just asked to break in the centre and it did. But this one is sold right through (you really don't need a telescopic or foldable one. It's long enough! For most cases of reaching things fallen behind a couch etc., it's plenty long enough. So this one doesn't have the vulnerability that the bazillion other grabbers on Amazon do. It feels like it's quality, not flimsy at all. SUPER HAPPY about these, and two of them to boot!

I bought this because I was in an accident and have trouble reaching things that are low or on the ground. I use this for putting the washing in the Washing machine and dryer because the back of the grab is rounded the clothes go in and don’t get caught as much pulling out of the machine for the next garment. The soft jaws are perfect for picking up paper from the ground or shoes. I also use it to pick the dog bowls from the ground, once the bowls are filled with food I use it again to place the food on the ground. The design of the grabby bit means that the bowl doest like a three prong receiving attachment. These are great wish I had bought them earlier. They also arrived fast and came in an good box. The appearance is also nice. Most of all I am in less pain. I bought two because I wanted one at work and one for home. I also have another one at home from the two I purchase so they are located in different places in the house so I don’t need to keep walking to get it. I like them it a lot.

great for picking up everything from a pencil to a 2L Pepsi bottle.

I expect these to last a long time based on the quality of material. If something were to go wrong in the future, I will update my review.

Have already purchased 22 and no doubt, will buy more. I have multiple in each room so that we do not have to go far to find one. They are lightweight and easy to use. however, they are not strong enough to pick up a 3 Litre bottle of milk. My wife has found this out a couple of times and has broken 2 of them.
