Gutermann 25049 Natural Cotton Thread Solids 876 Yards-White

Good thread. Needed 100% cotton for microwave bowl cozys.

Great thread for sewing potholders or other items that may be used around hot items. I used it when sewing cotton material and it was strong and generated little lint/fuzz on my machine.

All I can say is that Gutermann cotton threads have never disappointed me over the decades.

I have used this thread before and this is a re-purchase. I like the way it sews.

I need cotton thread for microwave projects like cooking bags and soup bowl cozies. It has a springy twist which sometimes makes it tricky to thread the needle, but is good quality and strong.

I do a lot of sewing and the thread went a long way Not having to change spools was a time saver

I read a few reviews saying this thread was not genuine. But I have compared it to some thread that I purchased from my local craft store and they are EXACTLY THE SAME, as per the photo. Left: thread purchased from Amazon. Right: thread purchased from local store. I love Gutermann threads and prefer them to Aurifil or Scanfil.
