I've been using this pillow for a month now and thought it was time to share my experience. I followed the instructions and left it for 48 hours before using to let the pillow expand and clear some of the smell. It's not a terrible smell and clears quite quickly, certainly didn't stop me sleeping on it. The pillow takes a little getting use to, especially as it's the first time I have had one of this type, but it is worth the money. At first sometimes I would turn it in the night as I tend to sleep on my side and the filling tended to move more in to the middle (I sleep near the edge of my bed for some reason!). However now the 2 of us (me & pillow) are in harmony. I get a great night sleep, no pains anywhere, I very rarely turn the pillow now and I am happy that I made this choice. The Bamboo cover has a nice feel, although I tend to use this as an under cover with another cover on top matching the rest of the bed covers. I have not had the need for more filling as to me it is just right, but it is nice to know that this can be ordered if needed. I really recommend this.

I ordered these because my husband and I struggle to sleep sometimes... fluffing, refluffing, folding pillows trying to get comfortable. We have tried all types from uber soft to medium (can't stand hard), and almost every type of fill you can imagine. They ALL go flat after a few weeks or a month or so, even the ones that promise not to. In fact, I would often wake up with sinus headaches or neckaches from our pillows. These pillows however changed all that! My husband says at least once a week now "I love this pillow". It has improved our sleep dramatically, and I no longer wake up with neckaches. I like how we can adjust the height of it by adding or removing stuffing. My husband's is fluffier than mine because he is a side sleeper, whereas I removed a little more filling from mine since I spend most of the night on my stomach. We keep all the extra stuffing from both pillows in its original plastic bag, and there is actually enough left over to make a 3rd pillow! There was a strong chemical smell at first, but I just saturated the pillows with Febreeze for the first couple of weeks every time I changed the sheets. The smell faded a lot after the first few weeks, and is completely gone now. In fact, I hadn't even thought about the smell until I started writing this review. There are two covers - a thin inner case with zipper that holds the shredded memory foam, and the outer bamboo fiber shell that is very thick and soft. The bamboo fiber cover washes very well without any change in shape or quality. The pillows are easy to fluff, and maintain their shape without flattening as you sleep. It truly does cradle your head, and even molds to it as you sleep for the perfect amount of support. These pillows are one of the best investments we've made in a good night sleep! Well worth the money.

After years of different pillows tried this one . I sleep better no more stiff neck or shoulders and it is comfortable and does support me as a side sleeper. Different to what I was expecting , not as much filling as I anticipated from other reviews and was expecting some sort of uniform pieces of foam not just loads chopped up, having said that it is comfortable. 4 stars for comfort is because sometimes I feel the pieces of foam when I have my cheek on it. Better in a large pillow case or no case at all as standard size seem to restrict the foam moving. I do find it gets a little hot even with the bamboo cover but that might just be me and the recent muggy nights. All in all I’m happy with it. Oh and there is initially a slight smell to it of foam but this has faded.

I don't often leave reviews but this pillow deserves comment and 5 stars. I have wasted so much money in the past buying the wrong pillows because you don't know until you try. I have severe allergies and back broblems, and if a pillow is too high I get neck problems too. So I bought two pillows, one polyester filled and the Martian Made memory foam one. They arrived together and I tried the polyester one first because the Martian one smelled (as warned) so I left it out to air for two days. The polyester pillow was so dense and high, after one night my neck and back started to hurt, I gave it one more night but hardly got any sleep. Day three I tried the Martian one. Firstly it comes with two very soft, well made covers which are fast drying, perfect for allergy sufferers who have to wash covers frequently. Secondly you can take out some memory foam if it's too high (full) but also you can menover the foam pieces to suit you. I like neck support so I punch the foam away from where my head lies and leave foam where my neck goes, which is perfect. Also I have been using it during the recent heatwave and have stayed cool in bed so the temperature is good too. I have now used it for over a week and had no allergic reaction and have slept better than I have for years. It has cost me a small fortune over the years trying to find the perfect pillow but I got there in the end! ... but I'm not telling my husband because he got the polyester one!

I have been suffering with neck pain for a few months now whilst sleeping, I have tried numerous pillows of various designs, fillings etc but nothing seemed to help. Traditional solid memory foam pillows actually made the pain worse so I was a little reluctant to try shredded memory foam, but for the reasonable £20 price tag and favourable reviews I decided to try it. The pillow itself is great, can be shaped much better than a traditional solid memory foam pillow, for me it gives the comfort and support but does not feel as rigid as previous pillows I have had. I generally sleep on my back but occasionaly turn onto my side in the night but this pillow is comfortable for both, although perhaps more so for on your back. Initially I found the pillow a little flat and had to push the foam material together and fold the edge to increase the loft and make it sit a bit more to my preference. I contacted Martian Made and they promptly sent out a bag of extra filling material free of charge which solved the problem. Anyway I am now sleeping more soundly (confirmed by my fitbit!) and my neck pain is substantially improved. My only negative is that the pillow itself gets a little warm as you would expect with memory foam, but because there is space between the filling it does allow a bit more breathe ability unlike solid ones that I found myself sweating profusely into. All in all very happy with my purchase, I can highly recommend both this pillow and Martian Made as a company.

I've lost count of the number of pillows I've tried and rejected over the last few years. Finally, I've found one that I'm happy with. It's thicker than pretty much any other pillow I've used. It should be good enough for most people, but I actually wanted it even thicker. When I contacted the seller they were happy to send me extra filling. You can't beat customer service like that. I'm a side sleeper, so I need a lot of neck support. The shredded memory foam in this pillow can be easily beaten into position so that it provides as much or as little support as you need. I imagine it would work for all sleeping positions for that reason. The pillow cases are top quality, too. In all, I'm very happy with the pillow, and very impressed with the customer service. Recommended! EDIT: After a month of use the memory foam seems to have lost most of its bouncebackability. It now compresses down into a very hard slab when I lie on it. Still gives great neck support, but is no longer soft enough for me.

If like me you’re the fussiest sleeper, need a firm pillow that doesn’t loose it’s shape then you’re in the right place. I used to buy new pillows every 3-4 months because I couldn’t never find one that suited me and after a month or two it would loose it’s shape & go flat. There’s nothing worst than a flat pillow! Well, I got this pillow and naturally thought I’d need the maximum filling because every pillow I ever buy is too soft or too flat. This is a Great because you can add & remove filling with this pillow. Anyway skip to when I’ve bought it. It’s lovely condition, well made & nice and plum & firm !!! I thought yes, I’m onto a winner. Well the first night I slept on it I felt like I was sleeping on a brick ! It was so plump my neck was cricked!!! I ended up removing almost half the filling but this is perfect as you can make it exactly to your own personal preference. you can also save the filling & store it until you need to plump it up again. Now I’ve got the filling right, it’s a dream! It’s the best pillow I’ve EVER bought by far ! I get the best sleep on it every night. It stays nice & firm and doesn’t loose shape. If I go somewhere to stay, I have to take my pillow as nothing lives up to it. I love that I have still got loads of filling so when it eventually goes flatter I can plump it up again ! It’s the longest surviving pillow I’ve had. It’s 100% worth the investment so if you’re not sure just buy it! Highly recommend!

Some of the reviews regarding this pillow have been based on the first couple of days. So I thought I'd give it a longer test. Based on the reviews and the description I decided to purchase the pillow back in January 2021. I fully understand the instruction sheet telling me to let the pillow air for a couple of days after opening and before actual use, as it smelt really unhealthy, almost toxic! The next task was to adjust the fill to get the right comfort factor, which took a few hours. I recommend you do this during the day and not when you go to bed like some of us, me😩😵😴. Even with a full week of airing the pillow it still smelt quite toxic, making me question the exact hygiene of the foam pieces that were used to fill it! So, cutting to 9 months later, by no means did it live up to the description! You think that you have it sorted for a comfortable night's rest and about 5 minutes later it's like the Princess and the pea! It gets lumpy and really uncomfortable, and no amount of position change makes any difference at all, so the only thing left to do is try and fluff it all up and start all over again. It got so annoying that I eventually started to think that it may have been a medical problem, but separate neck and shoulder x-rays ruled that out. So it's back to square one again with the search for a decent pillow. As for this one, well, if a friend were to ask me what it was like I'd say it was 💩! If the manufacture wants to get back to me with any explanation I'd appreciate it.

Hmmm, hört sich witzig an, da schreibt der Typ "ein Kissen was einstellbar ist" !? Ja ist es. Denn es hat an den Seiten einen Reissverschluss und man kann aus der sogenannten Kissenfüllung die Füllung hinausnehmen oder dazu legen. Je nach deinem Härtegrad welches du benötigst zum schlafen. Das Kissen so wie es geliefert wurde, ist sagen wir mal recht steif. Es gibt sehr sehr wenig nach. Man liegt auch insgesamt recht hoch. Dadurch das man aber nun einigfes aus der Kissenfüllung hinausnehmen kann, ist es quasi für jeden vollkommen individuell einstellbar. Auf den Bildern und im Video seht Ihr wie das ganze funktioniert. Es ist kein receyceltes Materiasl, aber es wurde geschreddertes Memoryschaum genutzt. Also quasi aus Matratzenstoff hergestellt. Hier kannst du Stück für Stück eben je nach Liegebedarf Stoff zu legen odere wegnehmen. Ich finde dieses Orthopädische Kissen mal richtig gut! Bei meiner Frau Ihrem kann man eben mal nicht hergehen und es nach belieben befüllen etc. sondern hier liegst du hart und musst damit leben. Bei diesem Kissen von Martian Made ist man individuell auf deine Schglafbedürfnisse eingegangen. Indem man dir es überlässt ob du dein Kissen hart oder weich haben möchtest. Man kann hier ohne Probleme die Füllung hinausnehmen oder eben welches hinstopfen, du bist hier gefragt wie du für dich am besten mit deinem Kopf beim schlafen liuegen möchtest. Klasse Idee

Das Kissen ist qualitativ hochwertig. Es ist nicht zu hart und nicht zu weich. Der waschbare äußere Bezug ist sehr praktisch. Tolles Kissen!

un gonflant assez surprenant car vraiment énorme! sur le coup, j'ai dormi plusieurs nuits tel qu'il était arrivé et mon coup , mes épaules et mon sommeil en on pâti! puis j'ai trouvé la solution : le coussin ayant une ouverture, j'ai enlevé de la mousse et me le suis m'y à la bonne hauteur et depuis c'est le pieds!
