Incredible product. I was being driven crazy by poison ivy with little relief from the multiple different brands of cortisone cream I tried. Could hardly sleep. I ordered this on same-day delivery awake at 4 AM out of total desperation, and I'm grateful to report that it 100% relieved my itching for hours after application. The difference is night and day. I also like the gel formula, which dries down more quickly and completely than a cream and is less likely to rub off on sleeves, bedding, etc. I'm no longer dreading trying to sleep tonight. I will keep this stuff in my medicine cabinet forever.

When I was bitten by an unknown spider, presumably at work, the nurse recommended that I try this product. I had never heard of it. I had already tried all the normal things (Benadryl, Camphophenique, cortizone cream, etc) out on my spider bite and nothing had made it better, and it was proceeding to get worse. But when I tried this, it finally started getting better and fairly quickly. That’s when I bought some on Amazon. More recently, while hiking, I was hit by a swarm of chiggers. There were literally hundreds crawling all over my light khaki hiking pants. I was lucky and only ended up with around 50+ bites. I was on vacation at the time, so I didn’t have this product with me, and all I applied was clear nail polish. Once I got home in approximately three days, I started applying this product along with a 3% solution of peppermint essential oils mixed with jojoba oil (all after removing the nail polish). By morning, there was a drastic improvement. Yes, it was incredibly itchy when I first started applying product, but within less than an hour, there was relief and significant reduction in redness, swollenness, and itchiness by the next morning. I could actually wear socks (before it was torturously itchy)! I’ve been applying those two things every morning and evening since. It may also be worth mentioning that because I’m a nerd, initially I only applied this product and the peppermint/jojoba oil to a small subset of my bites so that I could compare in the morning the difference. I wish I had thought to take a picture, but I didn’t. But the difference was significant, and after that I’ve been applying both products to all of my bites.

Not bad but have used other kinds that work better and dry out better.

Very effective anti-itching gel for poisonous ivy rash. I got poisonous ivy rash from pulling weeds. Rash was gone after I finished one bottle about a week.

Ok, in mid January I came down with the worst case of shingles my doc had ever seen. They got infected, I had them in my left ear, and the pain has been EXCRUCIATING. Massive nerve damage starting in front of my left ear and down the side of my neck, around to the area under my chin. It is brutal, peeps. If you had chicken pox as a kid for god's sake go get the Shingrix vaccine. This gel is the ONLY thing that allows me to get decent sleep. My ear is in a constant state of pain, my neck itches like crazy, and I get "electric" zaps all over the affected area. Been told it could be 6 months before things calm down. This gel numbs my ear, soothes the shocks, and gives me so much relief . Get it and keep it on hand. A little on your fingers goes a long way, a bottle lasts forever. You can use it on anything that itches or hurts. Like burns and insect bites. Don't use hydrocortisone creams-they thin your skin out after about 5 days. I am so grateful for this gel.
