3M Privacy Screen Protector for Apple iPhone 6/6S/7/8(MPPAP001) , Scratch Resistant, Black

Great product if you can find for cheap. Works better than all the rest. Doesn't slow slide to type typing down on phone. Or response like other privacy film/glass do. Also works when slightly tilted, and clearly visible when looking directly at the screen. Unlike other privacy film/glass, which darken the image. 3M is the top tier

This 3M product is great! It is very easy to install and works exactly as described. I would, however, recommend that when you apply the filter to your screen, you make sure that the screen is lit up (i.e., the phone is unlocked). The filter is laser cut to be exactly the width of the lit portion of the screen (rather than most screen protectors that are the size of the glass front). If you apply the filter while the screen is off, you run the risk of misaligning the filter to the screen and you will be left with a small light sliver along one of the sides that is sure to drive you crazy. The only other downside of the product is that it tends to show fingerprints and streaks a little more than my old screen protector when the screen is off but these prints are not visible when the screen is lit. This is mainly an OCD cosmetic issue and is very easily fixed. If you're considering purchasing this product--do it.

Overall good quality and the it works as it described. Only a minor glitch in cutting (not straight) toward the bottom.

I had bought two 3m privacy screen protectors previously off Amazon and they worked as advertised (total blackout at certain angles). I have friends that bought "cheaper" generic ones. When compared, the 3m out performed the generic by a long shot. At certain angles, the 3m produced a complete blackout vs the generic. On the generic you could still make out what's being shown. I was so impressed how the 3m screen protector performed that I decided to purchase the 3m screen protector again. Which brings me to this purchase. I bought one for each phone again. But, from different vendors for each. I slapped these babies on and compared the two. My 6s plus performs just like the old one. But, the 6s (this purchase) you could still make out what's being shown. The packaging was even different. The 6s plus packaging has blue coloring and the 6s has red. Pleas stay away from purchasing this product from this vendor. If Trump were to write a review on this product.... he'd call them "Fake Vendors." Picture: Real Product is on the left and fake product is on the right. "3M" logo is also sized differently.... the right one is larger than the left. Also, giving it 5 stars cause it'll move this review to the top. So, people can be warned. In actuality, it's not even worth one.

Item is a bit expensive but works perfectly. Works very well; keeps prying eyes from viewing your screen, especially on public transportation. Please note, this was placed on a white iPhone 6 and because this screen protector has a grey tint it is noticeable but not distracting or ugly. This screen takes the place of any other screen you might have so be sure that if you purchase a case that the screen protector is not integrated in the case. This was used with an Otterbox Commuter case and will not work with the Otterbox Defender case as it has an integrated screen. Very pleased with the item.

I've bought a few glass version of this, though not from 3m, and they all shatter. Thank goodness I got this 3M protector, it's plexi and takes a beating! So far no scratches from keys, and the odd bump and knock don't send me back to Amazon for another protector. The application kit and instructions were written by someone who knows the rest of us aren't glaziers or contractors. Super easy to put on.

I’m pissed. One i never write reviews ever but this made me mad. This absolutely does not fit the iPhone 11. When I open it the down left corner is chipped which okay is fine. As I put it on it doesn’t even match the length of my phone, it’s too big. But okay I made it work where it slightly comes out from the top. Cool. And as soon as my otterbot case goes on it starts lifting up. Do not buy for iPhone 11 it’s a complete waste of money. I wish I could take a video and pictures to show but I can’t because I only have one phone.

The principal drawback is the overall darkening of the screen, and this impedes or prevents the ability to scan and read electronic cards for Apple Pay, shopping, pharmacies, etc. Aesthetically, it does not look so hot if you have a white iPhone. Perhaps there are other 3M versions, but I did not find them on the web site.

By far the best privacy screen protector. Relatively easy to install but I still managed to get a bubble in mine. I would recommend taking it to a phone booth and having them install for you if possible!

Pas déçu, fonctionne très bien et surtout, c’est le bon modèle qui arrive ! Acheté la semaine dernière un « tech armor » pour essayer la concurrence un peu moins cher et ce n’était pas le bon filtre, alors que là, sans surprise (sauf « iPhone 7/8 » sur l'emballage mais c’est le même pour 6,7et8 donc ok) le bon article arrive, pas trop dur à positionner (pas évident non plus, et les bulles à virer aussi alors que d’autres filtres se posent mieux (mais collent moins)) et surtout la protection contre les regards indiscrets fonctionne super bien en plus d’etre une meilleure protection écran que les filtre verre/plastic. Bref: je recommande. Dommage quand même que ce soit aussi cher, 3M abuse beaucoup sur les tarifs. PS: baissez un peu la luminosité pour réduire l’angle de confidentialité

This is a great bit of kit. so easy to apply to the phone, works really well. If someone is looking at your phone next to you it appears to be turned off. The only downside it when you're not looking directly at it, you can't see anything e.g. when the alarm goes off in the morning its hard to turn it off without picking it up. Worth every penny as keeps all of your content private from sneaky eyes.

It is not scratch proof and installation is not easy as bubbles is hard to get rid off. That’s why while I was removing it the bubbles with the card given, it scratched the screen. Not worth the purchase
