Teddy Fleece Duvet Cover with Pillow Case Thermal Warm Soft Cozy Bedding Bed Set (White, King Duvet Cover Inc P/Case)

My wife always mutters how she would love to have a blanket as soft as some of her teddies, so I bought her one, then another two, because you do need to wash things occasionally. So, happy wife. Great. Then I noticed that she was wrapping herself up in the quilt on cold days and hogging the blanket on the bed. Well, it's a large, very soft and very warm blanket so I kind of understand. When I saw this, I figured it would answer a couple of prayers and have a certain amusement value as well. So, paid down the money and waited for delivery. Initially I was rather disappointed. This comes very tightly packed. so it's not soft and fluffy straight out of the packet. But, never one to be discouraged I shook the quilt cover out, brushed it over and left it hidden in a spare room overnight. That did the trick, and I sneakily stuck it on the bed when the wife was out shopping. I wasn't entirely convinced that my idea was such a good one when she stole most of the super-king quilt and turned herself into a cocoon. However, I was right on the amusement, as the happy grunts from her side of the bed at least implied that she liked the quilt cover. It is warm, very warm, so not really suitable for summer use. But cold autumn and winter nights this is going to be ideal. It's soft, it's cozy, it's well, kinda like a giant fluffy teddy bear. I personally don't like the pillow case, because it's too hot, so I've gone back to a plain cotton case. But my wife is completely in her element and loving this. You can't ask more than a happy "warm" wife. At least she doesn't cocoon herself anymore, having almost roasted the first time. No more fighting over the quilt, result.

I ordered the set and added a fitted sheet. The colours are a slightly different shade . The set is not as sumptuous as in the photo and is a little on the thin side but It fits in well to my 9kilo washing machine and it drys very quickly which is a plus as the velvet soft I have from QVC are very thick and take ages to dry and have to be washed in two sessions and they take up too much space in the machine machine. The finish of the produce Is not brilliant but it is soft, warm and very nice to sleep in . All in all Good for the price .

Good quality and hardly any fluff cast off compared to some others. Fit is a bit long but not a problem.

Lovely and soft - I love fur. Unfortunately it is not suitable for my husband, his side has lost the fur, he tosses and turns a lot.
