A well made, comfortable garment. I am not the audience this garment is marketed to, as I am a female. That being said I LOVE THIS KAFTAN! I wanted a kaftan, but didn't want to look like Mrs. Roper from Three's Company. Plain, no flowers, snaps or frou frou. Not sure what the fabric blend is but feels to be mainly smooth cotton. The black is not sheer and goes to my ankles- perfect for taking the dogs outside or puttering around the house. An ideal swimsuit cover for the more demure among us. Not a bad nightgown option. The kangaroo pocket seals the deal. Ordered at the height of flight restrictions so it took months to arrive, but is not the seller's fault. Totally worth the wait. Physical Details: Ordered XL, fits loose but not sloppy. I am a size 14-16, 5'6".

So comfy and presentable. My nephew wore this as he was recovering from knee surgery. He was able to manage visitors modestly and functionally with this garment. He still wears it because it is so comfy.

This robe is pretty comfortable and is made of cotton, which is a plus! The slit on the sides is not so high that it can't be worn without showing too much skin when sitting down. It is great for spring and summer lounging! I would definitely recommend. The side pockets are also a nice addition.

The craftsmanship is ok. It is not an “athletic cut”. Material is decent and not itchy. I wouldn’t call it comfy but it’s not uncomfortable. Didn’t shrink like some of the other reviews state. It’s definitely better suited for Halloween than any day to day use. BUT THE HONEST TRUTH IS… it’s given KKK vibes. Especially the hooded “robe”. I can’t unsee it now. I want to return it because the KK vibes are so strong on it, but imma just take the loss and trash it. I got the black robe thinking it’d be good for sleep but I saw an Imperial Wizard tunic in black on the internet that looked eerily similar and then it all just kinda dawned on me. Maybe I’m trippin… But I just can’t with it. No judgement. To each their own. But “it’s a no for me dawg”

There are 2 issues with this garment: 1. Material was misrepresented: I bought this product specifically because the seller indicated in 2 different parts of the description that the garment is 95% cotton. I wanted a cool, breathable fabric for hot weather. In fact, the item is only 35% cotton. A high polyester content like this is not tolerable where there's humidity of any kind. 2. I'm 5'10", and would normally wear a US size large. Based on the descriptions and reviews, it seemed like I should go up at least 1, possibly 2 sizes. To be safe, I ordered XXL. This particular version is log sleeved, and the sleeves fit perfectly, even though the garment's shoulders fell well below my shoulders. Had the shoulders been a good fit, the sleeves would have been too short and it would have been challenging wriggling out of the garment. I recommend ordering 2 sizes up only if your body shape requires extra roominess in the mid section. I'll be returning this item.

I used this as a costume for The Chosen! It was perfect and I modified it to make it work for me, as I needed something comfortable, yet covered up. I see why people wear these all the time, it feels great, washes well in cool water and is not see through.

I'd looked at a lot of these kaftan-style things online, and it's so hard to be sure about the sizing. I took a chance on this one, based on the reviews and description. I'm 5'10" with a little extra around the middle (not obese but I could use more exercise), so I like a little extra space just for my own sense of comfort/vanity. So, I ordered the XXL to allow for that. I slipped it on, anxious how it would fit, but I'm super happy with it... it's not huge and overflowing, but is roomy enough that I won't feel at all self-conscious wearing it. The length of the kaftan and the sleeves are perfect. I could imagine myself buying another size up, in this specific brand, if I was going to be out being more active in it - I worry a lot about how things fit (or don't fit), so maybe I'm overthinking it... and wanting more roominess than most people. But this isn't the sort of thing I think a person buys for it to be form-fitting, like one might with shirts or trousers. Still, I'm happy with it, regardless, in XXL. I can't speak to how it washes up, but I'm planning to be gentle with it and hang to dry...
