Stable and good value
I wanted to set up a pull up bar in a doorway at work and needed one that would work in a 38 inch doorway. This one was reasonable priced and said it would work in up to 40 inch doorways so I decided to give it a shot. The screws that come with it are short (less than 1 inch I think), so I used longer screws to hold the end caps. Each cap is held by 3 screws. I drilled pilot holes first and then tightened the screws. The bar seems very sturdy and did not bend while doing pull ups. I weight about 170 pounds and am confident that it's going to stay in place. Now by having the pull up bar set up, I'm reminded to do a few pull up each day. Also it's easy to take down the bar if need be. The end caps though are now a permanent part of that doorway :)

Perfect for a crazy use in my camper!
I installed this vertically in the opening up to the bed in my truck camper. Makes a perfect and very sturdy grab bar to help safely pull up into the overhead sleeping g compartment and steadies me when exiting too. Verrrry sturdy and easiest install ever!

Sturdy and Easy-to-Install Pull-Up Bar with Minor Maintenance Needed
I’ve been using the JFIT Deluxe Multi Exercise Doorway Pull-Up Bar with Comfort Grips (40-Inch) for a while now, and overall I’m very satisfied with the purchase. Installation was quick and straightforward. All I needed was a screwdriver, and it was up and ready in just a few minutes. The bar feels solid once installed. I weigh about 135 lbs, and it easily supports my weight without any sagging or shifting. It feels sturdy and secure during pull-ups and other exercises. The comfort grips are nice, though they are a bit thick because of the Velcro wrap. This isn’t a dealbreaker, but it does make the grip feel slightly bulkier than some other bars I’ve used. One important thing to note is maintenance: it’s best to re-tighten the bar about once a week. If you don’t, it can gradually loosen, which could become a safety concern over time. As long as you stay on top of that, it performs well. Overall, this is a solid and reliable doorway pull-up bar for the price. Easy to install, sturdy in use, and effective for home workouts. I’d recommend it, especially if you don’t mind doing occasional tightening to keep it secure.

Recommend larger installation screws.
This bar is a pretty sweet deal. I use to have one of these bars when I was younger. Now, at the age of 33 and at a desk job for the past two years, I recommend one of these. I did order one of the fancy pullup bars with all sorts of various grips, and despite my door frame meeting the specifications of this bar, the bar did not fit. The j/fit Doorway Pull-Up Bar can quite literally fit any door and is easy to install with a level and measuring tape. My only concern, and just for safety reasons, I didn't use the screws provided with the bar. It's important to know the construction of the door your hanging the bar on. My house is old and is build with plaster and lathe. The doorway where I put the bar has a good 1/2" of plaster, so the provided screws would not have been sufficient. Even if the door jam had wood right from the get-go, the screws provided could be beefed up a little. It's unlikely the bar would slip between the grip of the screws and the pressure the bar provides once it's tightened, but I'd rather play the safe card here. For an extra buck for six screws, I'd rather feel safe even if the longer screws provide nothing in addition. But, my situation is unique insofar as my door jam has plaster as the first material and not wood like most doors. Otherwise, save yourself the $50.00 on some of these ridiculous pullup bars, they all do the same thing, the others are just over complicated, unnecessary, and not worth the value they provide. This j/fit Deluxe Doorway Pull-Up Bar is easy to install, provides the same function as other pullup equipment for 1/2 the cost, and can literally fit "any" doorway as long as the doorway is within the measurements as provided in this products description. Thanks for a great American made product!

Perfect for my needs
The doorway I hung this in is 30 inches, so I only needed to extend the bar about 4 inches to make it fit. I used the mounting brackets as I didn't have any objection to putting them in my door frame. I did use some longer screws than the ones that came with it, but this is because I wanted them to bite into the stud and not only the molding. It does not interfere with the door in any way. The bar I received has velcro attached hand grips, so I am able to adjust their positioning to wherever I need them. I think j/fit saw all of the comments about hand grips being off-set when the bar is extended and improved their product based on feedback, which is what I like to see! I installed the little red tabs that came with it that lets you put the bar lower on the door frame to hook your feet under for sit-ups, but I haven't done much with that. I notice the direction I approach the bar makes a difference, if I hang from it in the direction that 'unscrews' it will sometimes rotate a little bit. Not enough to be a problem, just enough to catch my attention. I check the tightness frequently as it's easy to do and almost a warmup stretch. My motivation for getting any doorway pull-up bar was the realization that I would be more likely to use a pull-up bar if it was instantly accessible, as opposed to the bar hanging in my garage that is too high to jump to and is suspended from rope over cement slab. There I would have to find something to boost me to the right height and time my workout so as not to attempt chin-ups while the garage is stuffy and hot. I chose this particular bar because of the reviews and the length. My doorway pull-up bar is placed in the doorway between my bedroom and bathroom so I see it several times a day and immediately started at least hanging from it. Within a week I could get some 'lift'. It's been about a month since I installed it and I can do one full chin-up from a standing position (I'm 5'9" and the doorway isn't tall enough for me to start from a dead hang, so my elbows are at about a 130-degree angle), no boosts, hops, or rockups from my toes. I'm working towards being able to do sets but I'm not quite there yet. Still, the progress I've made in the past month with this bar has been significantly greater than with other set-ups I've tried.

Arrived used
The JFIT Deluxe Multi Exercise Doorway Pull-Up Bar (40-Inch) arrived on time, but it appeared to be used. The screws were in a sandwich-sized ziplock bag and had drywall powder on them, which made it look like the item had already been installed before. I did go ahead and install it because I didn’t want to deal with the hassle of returning it, but I was disappointed to receive what seemed like a used product after paying full price. I would have expected better quality control and would appreciate a discount or partial refund.

Much cheaper option than all the others, but it is incredibly value for money
So there's a saturated market of pullup bars out there, and each one seems to be getting more expensive than the last. This only costs about USD 25 and I did not expect much. Was completely blown away by the quality, the metal is sturdy, there is very little wobble and zero bending once secured. I did not need to use the screws and the rubber friction is holding the bar up just fine. But I'm on the lighter side, so if you're heavier please do install the safety screws on the side. Also, make sure you do your pullups on the side that tightens the bar.
