Curved ends are difficult to install, but worth it.
I got this to dress up my women's Timex Expedition. The result was well worth the frustration of installing the curved ends. I really like the look of the curved ends, I think it really elevates the look. HOWEVER, it was a MAJOR PAIN to install the springs into the watch with the curved ends. My watchband is 12mm, so it's really tiny and of course this only made it harder. I had to shut the windows and listen for the "click" when the spring finally locked in. I'm stubborn and persistent, so I probably spent 20 minutes each end, wiggling around the tool, waiting for the spring to latch, and sometimes it would slip and fall out. I was also wary of scratching my watch, and that added to the time. So BEWARE. You might get lucky and not spend ad much time as I did if you go with the curved ends. Overall, I think the product is well-made. The curved ends are made of a thin metal, but it is indistinguishable from the rest of the watchband once installed. I think my effort paid off, and I am very pleased. Adjustment was super easy with the tool provided and the little manual. Overall, I am very pleased to have achieved the aesthetic I wanted.

Fits Armitron 20/1143 Well, but Included Spring Clips Not Compatible
I bought this band to replace the breaking, knock-off Twist-o-Flex type band that came with my Armitron 20/1143 dress watch. I had been looking for a replacement for the band for quite a while, because like many fashion watches nowadays, my Armitron 20/1143 watch came with a custom-fitted band that butted up against the case's lugs for a seamless look. I wanted the new band to mimic that look and not leave any gaps. When I found this BINLUN watch band with both straight and curved ends, I knew I had to give it a try. THE GOOD While the new band isn't exactly like the original one, it's close enough that unless someone knows the watch and looks closely, they can't tell it's a replacement. (See photo.) The gold and silver pattern of the band is a bit different from the original, but it's still silver with gold inlay -- actually stainless steel and goldtone, of course, as this isn't an expensive watch or band. It's also a shiny finish rather than the original matte. The underside of the band DOES have a matte finish, and I considered mounting it that way, but the curved ends can only mount one way, and they're shiny, so I decided the band looked better with the shiny side out. The curved ends attach to the ends of the band via the spring clips, so you can use them or not, depending on what looks best for your watch. (If you do decide to mount the band matte side out, remember that you also have to remove the clasp, flip it over and reattach it.) The curved ends do not fit flush with my Armitron 20/1143's lugs like the original band did. Instead, they fit over the lugs and conform to the curve of the gold circle around the watch face. Realistically, that's as close to an original fit as I'm likely to find unless Armitron happens to sell replacement watch bands. As far as I can tell, they don't. As of right now, I've been wearing the watch with the new band for less than an hour, but it appears to be comfortable - more comfortable than the original band, actually. I had to adjust it a bit loose, because taking out one more link made it a bit too snug. But that's not BINLUN's fault - one can only do so much to account for varying circumferences of human wrists! THE BAD The band came with three new spring clips, which is awesome if you happen to lose one, a very easy thing to do when trying to install a new watch band. The new spring clips come with little knobs that stick out and make it easier to attach and detach them from the watch, a welcome addition. Unfortunately, those same knobs are incompatible with the curved ends, a curious oversight on BINLUN's part! My watch's original spring clips were both in good condition and I was able to use those, but the construction of the curved ends made it extremely difficult to attach the band with them. I found two ways to get the job done. The first was to grow a third arm and hand to hold everything in place while using your first two arms and hands to manipulate the spring clips and use the included spring clip tool to compress the clips. While that would definitely have been the cooler way to accomplish this, it does require some ethically questionable actions to obtain the extra arm and hand and major surgery to connect it for most of us humans; either that, or advanced cloning techniques. So I opted for the second approach: upon realizing that it was easier to attach the band with the back of the watch facing me, and also realizing that I was going to have to remove some links from the band anyway to get the right fit, I disconnected one side of the clasp, allowing the halves of the band to lay flat and for me to attach the second end of the band with the back of the watch facing me. It was still a pain in the rump, requiring use of a small electronics flat blade screwdriver that was not included with the band, but with effort, I got the job done. The band includes a special pin-pushing tool for disconnecting links in the band. You need to do this both for using the curved ends (i.e., you have to remove the straight ends in order to use the curved ends) and for removing links to adjust the band to your size. The band comes with instructions that illustrate how to use the tool to remove the pins that hold the links together, and I found those instructions easy enough to follow. Unfortunately, the tool isn't very helpful for pushing the pins back in, which you have to do to reconnect the loose ends when you're done, and the instructions don't address this. You can push the pins most of the way back in with your fingers, and I ended up using the aforemtioned flat blade screwdriver to finish the job so that the pins wouldn't work their way back out, which is what will happen if you don't successfully push them all the way back in. Only the straight ends of the band and the 4 or 5 links on either side of the clasp are removable. That's just as well, because the band flares outward from there so that it meets the lugs of the watch. If you have to remove links, you'll want to remove them evenly from both sides of the clasp. That's because the clasp is shaped to fit the soft underside (the palm side) of your wrist. If remove too many links on one side, the clasp will be off-center, which may be uncomfortable. I don't know how well this design works for those who prefer to wear their watches on the underside of the wrist, so that they turn their hands palm-side up to read them. THE BOTTOM LINE Most of us don't frequently remove, reattach and adjust our watch bands, so installation issues aside, this is an attractive, comfortable watch band that looks good on watches that came with curved-end, flush-fitting watch bands. It doesn't seem to catch and pull hairs the way my watch's original band did, and I like that a lot. Hopefully, it also won't catch loose threads, which my watch's original band was notorious for, especially after it started to break. Overall, it's well-designed and feels sturdy, so it I expect it to last a long time. (The most likely points of failure are the springs in the clasp.) I deducted one star for the incompatible spring clips, but other than that, I really like this band.

Recommend going with a different brand. This works if you just want a cheap steel band.
Look good, but feels flimsy and cheap, has almost no weight-not a good thing for steel. Quite jangely and noisy, denoting the cheap build.

Great product, great price. Looks amazing.
This is a wonderful looking watch band. I loved it so much I ordered another. Link removal was not as hard as some said for me. I believe there is a technique to it that I will share in my next review of the band I just purchased. Seller is also incredibly helpful. If you have questions/concerns be sure to contact as they are very supportive and understanding. Can't wait for my next band to arrive and write another review. If I am right about the link technique helping I will try and share that too. Very happy with my purchase! **Edit** I have purchased another band and it is just as great as the first. This time I had a few questions and the seller was prompt and polite when answering them and offered great solutions at no extra cost to me. I definitely endorse this product and seller. For any having issues with removing links/pins some tips-- Line up the pin with the pin removal pin then hold the band in place against the pin removal tool. One side of the pin will be slightly more inset than the other side of the pin, use that side of the band to remove pins and use the slight inset to your advantage by letting the pin removal tool rest inside the inset. Hold the band in place and slowly tighten the pin removal tool by spinning the knob. Keep it lined up as you go. Once it hits the plastic make sure the pin can push through the opening on the other side of the band and just tighten the knob a little more and the pin should just start sliding out. You can then remove the last of the pin with your fingers once it is mostly pushed out. The pins come out pretty quick and easy once you get the hang of it. Hope this makes sense and helps. Happy DIY!!

sharp edge of band at watch, not visible but felt scratch when run finger over the watchface.
the watch cowling has sharp, painful scratch due to sharp/protubing edge of the band at the watch face at both sides of the watch. cant wear the watch because risk of skin injury.

Works for Carnival Tritium Watch
I got this as a spare for my Carnival Tritium Watch, 40mm case model. It requires a 20mm band. That watch comes with a curved end band. Except for the ends that attach to the watch, it is identical to the original Carnival band. This band fits ok with the straight end if you don't mind the look. It doesn't look too bad, but I like the curved ends better. The supplied curved ends do not fit this watch, the pins do not line up. They do line up with other watches I have but not the Carnival. The good news is that the inner segments are the same width as the original Carnival band. This means that you can take the straight end off and use the Carnival curved end pieces. For my 20mm band, the inner links measure 10.85mm wide. They fit into an 11mm gap. The band is good quality and has good weight to it. The clasp is the same style as the Carnival. The link tools are decent for occasional use. If you are not good with small mechanics, go to a jeweler. You still need some skill to make it happen.
