Great mount
Put this on my Franchise Affinity 3.5 to mount a Burris FastFire 4. Installed easily, works great.

Easy to retro fit
Used the Beneli M1 Speed Bead to fit a red dot on my Hatfield PAS Shotgun (The $150 Walmart Special). With a little filing of the sight mount it fit like a glove. Im sure with alittle reseach and some bubba gunsmithing these mounts could work with most shotguns. Great sight keeps your eyes where they need to be. Not wayyyy over bead like picatinny mounted sight for shotguns...

Read this if you want to use it on a Remington 870
I wanted to mount a Burris Fastfire IV on a Remington 870 shotgun, so I bought this Speedbead mount. First note that the mounting piece pictured on Amazon's website is wrong for the Remington 870. It is totally different. It has two skinny little wire-like pieces with itty bitty little tabs that mash in between the stock and receiver. Very weak and the metal bends easily causing your sight to move. I did my research with videos, etc., and tried over and over about 20 times to get this to properly seat, but with no avail. I am not a novice either. I should have listened to the other negative reviews for the Rem 870 mount and chose something more stable. Other reviewers who have mounted the Speed Bead on different brands of shotguns seem to have a great experience though. It's just that if you plan on using it on a Rem 870 shotgun, there are better and more robust mounting options out there.

Burris speed bead
Great product, fast and easy install. Bring on turkey season!

great option for a low profile sight other then receiver mounted
It will fit the SBE2 fine however i wanted to put it on one with a steady grip stock which according to burris they don't have. This mount will in fact fit it you just have to remove the pins from the mount and then it will be TIGHT but will go on just fine.overall i am very pleased with the sight and will know more when i go to patterning the 3.5" turkey loads in a week or so, will update it then if the FF3 will hold zero using this mount. Burris is a great company though and it seems to be a very well built mount!

Total junk. Never stayed tight after a shot.
Felt cheap. Difficult to get the stock tight. Elevation screw kept falling out.But I do like the fast fire 3 red dot. I'll try a saddle mount next.

Made of plastic
Made of plastic and doesnt come with screws. Expect more from burris, on to another brand for this purpose as plastic is unacceptable for an optic mount.

Works great with original stock
Works great with original stock. Got it to work with the 12 ga steady grip stock to with a little modding. The steady grip is slightly oversize as it's meant to fit a 12ga receiver and not the 20 ga though it does bolt up. I sanded it down till it was the same size as the original stock. The speedbead mounts to the steady grip using the 2 holes at 5 o'clock and 7 o'clock which the steady grip doesn't have so you will have to drill the holes in the steady grip. Overall it's a pretty simple mod.

Didn’t work
Mounted my Burris Fastfire 3 on it. Wouldn’t hold zero. Every shot the red dot moved. Red dot is fine on a scope rail. Not so well on this speedbead.
