Power Electronics: Converters, Applications, and Design

We are using this book as the text for a graduate course I'm currently taking. It has a lot of content and builds upon concepts nicely. The book has a nice balance of theory, discussion, and mathematical development. Is it the end-all, be-all of power converter books? No--but it is a solid introductory and even into more advanced concepts.

Excelent book.

Used this book along with Daniel Hart's book to teach myself power electronics. I found this book an excellent book to learn Power Electronics basics and to use Pspice to do PE simulations.

Excellent book, discusses the basic Componenet power electronics, as well as the most common circuits and applications. Harmonic analyzes are shown. I highly recommend it

Not a great book. Depending on the circuit, there may be two ways it can operate. In detail, it will show you how to solve it for one way but the other way it leaves you hanging. There has to be a better book.

Good shipping, arrived in perfect package, within the expected arrival date. it's a classic book with a good coverage of the main power electronics concepts

Oltre al fatto che il libro è un must per ogni corso di elettronica di potenza (specialmente la versione in Inglese: cambia parecchio da quella italiana), la scelta di prenderlo qui su Amazon si è rivelata vincente; in 2 giorni ho ricevuto il prodotto, perfettamente integro e rispondente alle caratteristiche immagini riportate sul sito. Ultimo pregio, il costo; quasi un terzo del costo applicato in libreria, senza contare la settimana (per essere ottimisti) di attesa che mi era stata promessa!

O livro é uma ótima fonte de pesquisa, de verdade, mas tem ainda um erro no capítulo 4, em um dos desenhos de forma de onda da tensão no capacitor, se não me engano, mas acredito que isso foi um erro de impressão porque não vi isso na edição anterior. Novamente, quero frizar que foi uma ótima aquisição.

if your studying power electronics look no further this book is perfect for degree level students.the content layout is very professional and examples are relevant,the book is expensive but then the content is priceless so worth every penny
