Immediately upon opening this, the robust coffee aroma hit me and I fell in love. It smells so yummy and just how you would imagine coffee to smell. It’s the coffee you drink in a restaurant or cafe that tastes so good and leaves you saying, “Wow, this is good coffee.” Plus it mixes well with almond milk. It’s also not nearly as bitter as most coffee I’ve tried; it has a slightly sweet and nutty flavor profile. The container is so cute too!

Holy cannoli, I really like this brand of coffee & chicory restaurant coffee! I usually buy another brand but thought I'd try this brand when I saw it. This French Market brand really makes great Vietnamese coffee, which the French introduced to Vietnam when they were a colony of France. There was a coffee shortage in the 1970's, so some of the coffee companies mixed chicory with the coffee then, and my mom used to buy and make it. I liked it as a kid and still enjoy its spicy, sweet flavor. It gave me the courage to try different flavors and spices then which still applies now. I just brew it in my coffee pot as normal. You can put it in a pod and use it that way to brew a cup too. You can prepare it like Greek coffee, or use a strainer and strain it to make Vietnamese coffee. I bought it for much less than I pay in brick and mortar stores for a different brand of chicory coffee. It arrived in a jiffy, and was packaged well too! It was totally worth the purchase!

Its a very different coffee. The best way i can explain it is, its like drinking a coke vs a diet coke. Its much more "full" i guess is the word. Its good. Not acidic at all. Some bitterness but in a good way. It has a natural flavor. Definitely try it!

As a decaf coffee this is really good. The taste is worthy of a 5 rating. The container is a very professionally made can with a tight fitting lid. However, two reasons I only gave it a 3. The “Chicory” flavor is minimal, second reason is I’m not sure if it’s decaf or caffeinated. See the attached pics. The description on Amazon says caffeinated but the side of the can says decaffeinated. I’m guessing it’s really decaf because that’s what’s on the can, my wife really likes it, so I just bought my second can.

A tasty, low-caffeine option for coffee drinkers. The chicory produces a stronger flavored, less bitter cupful. I drink it in the afternoon and it doesn't keep me up at night.
