Replacement Ear Pads Compatible with DT770, DT880, DT990, DT 770 PRO, DT 880 PRO, DT 990 PRO Headphones (Black)

Several people have mentioned some loss of treble with these pads. I have also noticed that when I replace old pads with new Berydynamic pads. I believe that comes from a change in surface hardness between old, stiff, dried up pads and new more supple ones, rather than from some inherent defect in these pads. I've been using this latest set around 8 hours a day for 3 months. There are no rips, tears, bald spots, smoothed out areas, or any visible degradation at all. They look and feel like new. Adhered bits of pizza debris come off easily with a little fingernail work. The feel is slightly different than the Berydynamic pads, but very comfortable and I really have no preference for one or the other. I was able to comfortably wear them for several hours on my first use. They were easy to install with just the right amount of stretch to stay tightly in place, no installation struggling was required. I can't really say if the treble issue has changed in that time, but having gotten used to them I now like the sound very much and have no issues with using them both for everyday listening and critical mixing.

Very comfortable fit and easy to install. I did notice some changes to the sound frequency, but nothing that bothers me as expected due to the new material. Noise isolation is still good and for the purpose of my earphones, they work exactly as expected.

Fits perfectly on my DT990Pro X headphones! Highly recommended, comfortable, and also adds to the design of the headphones, very beautiful, satisfied.

Not a 1:1 perfect replacement for the original Beyerdynamic DT770Pro headphones I have, but I actually really appreciate them. They are very soft and comfortable. The black velvet looks very nice and the install was a piece of cake. They are only bad in one respect, and it’s a big one. They do not adequately isolate your ears. You can hear your surroundings while wearing them and likewise when you’re recording, the signal from the headphones gets into the mics. Do not install these replacement pads assuming they’ll perform like the OEM versions from Beyerdynamic. They won’t. But what they will do is allow you to replace the original gray pads that are dirty and broken-down, giving your DT770s a new lease on life. Enjoy!

Boy, I really can’t hear a big sonic difference with these from the stock pads. My DT 770 pros are around 12 years old and the pads were just falling apart. The inner pads had also completely deteriorated and I wouldn’t recommend waiting as long as I did to replace them. The inner foam deteriorating has led to me having a driver that buzzes when heavy amounts of bass are pushing them. Bits of foam and hair have defiled the driver. Don’t do what I did, keep them fresh with these pads. The pads are a bit thicker and bit firmer than stock. The velour is very nice and soft, totally comparable to the stock velour. My ears still touch the drivers on the inside personally. As far as thoughts that these may color the sound - I have been a musician and recording artist for a long time now and I think balanced with the cost of a Beyerdynamic pair of pads just go with these. A OEM pair will cost you $40 plus $15 to ship them. One guy said that these don’t sound as good because they don’t have the inner rubber pad to touch against the driver. I took those out of my old pads and used them in these. They ripped right out of the old pad with very little effort and are serving the same purpose in the new pads. People have been falling for audiophile snake oil to a definite degree for a long time now. I think quality is important but the build on these feels solid and to me the difference is negligible.

Out of the box, they felt plastic, looks fantastic, even installed onto my headphones far easier than the stock ear pads. I put the headphones on and the first thing I noticed was how incredibly comfortable these ear pads are, they are probably the most comfortable ear pads I've ever had on any headphones. I wish the review for these pads could continue to be so glowing, but I do have to be straightforward and honest and say that the second thing I noticed is how they block out quite literally zero sound from the surrounding environment. I came from pleather dt770 pro pads, and they block out quite a bit more sound than the stock valuer ones, so I can't say if they match the original sound isolation of the velure pads, or if they isolate less. Can say is that in a quiet room they isolate so little sound that I can actually hear myself breathing, for the leather on my chair creaking as I shift my leg. The sound isolation is completely subjective, and some people may prefer them performing quite similarly to open back headphones in this nature, however the one thing I don't think is very subjective is how bad these ear pads affected the sound quality on my headphones. Walking the highs are very very tinny and thin, maids just kind of sound flat and uninspired, and the single biggest hit was the base response, it just sounds muddy, flat, bad honestly. would absolutely love to keep these ear pads just because of how comfortable they are, but they truly do compromise all aspects of the sounds of these headphones, at least to my ears

These are premium replacements for the originals. Probably better then the originals. Very comfortable.

I have had my DT770 pro for years and they had the leatherette cushions. I got these as my current ones got old and brittle. I have replaced with these and you have to invert the little hoop and then unfold it around the headphone which is the easiest way to install. It's difficult but so are the OEM ones. To be honest I did not find the audio change too much. Yes it did not sound the same but still great! When you put them on though, Oooh man it's like having two soft pillows or puppies on your ears. They are so soft and comfortable. I can see how for some it might be too hot but the comfort is amazing! Love these replacement ear pads!

Tenia altas expectativas por su precio y reviews pero termine decepcionado. A pesar de que no fueron realmente baratas (compre otras de otra marca para otros audifonos) el material se siente barato, no se siente que vayan a durar y lo peor, no son muy cómodas qué digamos... Hubiera preferido gastar mas por algo de mejor calidad
