Nice product. Actually bought this to replace a dirty one (same brand) but as I read the tag, realized it’s washable. Washed the old one and it turned out great. Keeping this one for the future, as they keep going up in price.

This item should protect carpeted stairs. My cats would destroy this in minutes. It's very thin and cheap and looks nothing like the pictures they advertise. I promptly returned this product.

I just need temporary (few months) protection for my carpeted stairs. I have a high traffic, low pile carpet and the runner’s foam backing didn’t adhere well to the carpet (wouldn’t lay flat). So I had to staple it. I Wouldn’t accept it as a permanent solution but it will serve my temp needs well. I bought this and a vinyl runner at the same time. I chose the cloth one because it’s wider and gives better traction than the vinyl’s slick surface. Even thought the vinyl adheres better.

Great stair cover. Issue is dog (and humans) going up an down stairs disrupts the layout and crumples up the stair cover. I do not know of anything to keep it in place. The benefit of keeping my light color carpeting clean outweighs our risk for a fall. We walk on stairs carefully but can’t educated dog to do the same. Even without a dog, the stair cover does move out of place. Still, I would purchase again because I am not aware of any option except clear plastic with its gripping capability; however it’s appearance is no acceptable in my home. Product is easily washed and can be cut easily. It is difficult to vacuum so my husband and I will shake it out. Vacuuming is a challenge since it does not adhere to to the carpet and gets sucked up by the vacuum.

I know these rugs are pricey but I have not found any others that are this weight and the variety of sizes. I live in a dusty Texas town. Mostly hard floors but carpet is in the bedrooms. There is constant dust and muddy dirt coming in on our shoes and just the general dust that gets into the house. I have ordered several of these runners and then cut them into the sizes I need to walk on the traveled areas of the bedrooms. I can wash them as needed. Then I just fold them up if we have company and the carpets look great. If you can get past the cost for the value and the peace of mind I can recommend them. I cannot yet tell how long they may last, but I bought my first 15 footer almost a year ago and have washed it several times ... it's still holding up just fine.

I returned my first order of Laminet because they sent the wrong length. I lorered 20 ft & received 15 ft (grey). I returned it & received the 20 ft BUT in (tan). I'll use it but wish it was in grey instead. The last Laminet lasted over 20 yrs & can't begin to appreciate how it ;prlotected our stairway carpet. Simply washed it when necessary & did the trick

This is rather unimpressive for the price. First, the seller asked for feedback before the item was delivered. For some unexplained reason, delivery took over two weeks when the rest of my Amazon order arrived eight days earlier. Also, the item had household dirt in it, suggesting it was returned by a previous buyer and repackaged/resold without cleaning. This fabric is very thin. It seems to adhere to my carpeted stairs reasonably well, but because it's thin, it has the look of constant wrinkles in regular use. Unfortunately, I found no similar product to suit my needs. I bought this mostly to prevent excessive wear-and-tear and dirt ground into my carpeted stairs. It will serve that purpose unglamorously, and for higher cost than product value would suggest.

Arrived in time. Was surprised at how thin it actually was but that is what I needed. Very pliable. Have it covering the Berber carpet on the stairs heading to the basement because those get incredibly filthy. I'm naturally slow going down a set of stairs so it is good as-is for me, but if I had busy kids racing up and down those stairs I'd be looking for a way to secure it at each step. Looking forward to seeing how it responds to being tossed in a washing machine.

This product completely failed to adhere to the carpet on my stairs. Indeed its lack of adhesive quality makes it both dangerous and most unsafe as it crumples and creates folds with every step. It would be utterly unsafe for any elderly or young people to use. The product looks NOTHING LIKE the picture. Sadly, a waste of money.

Didn't really stay down - kept creasing when walked on. Didn't really like it so sent it back. Also looked cheap and not as nice as in the pictures shown online.
