My 1st time toning and it was so simple!
I finally went from decades of box color brown (#5) to embracing the gray. A few months ago my hairdresser took my professionally highlighted hair (which was my in-between step from brown to gray), and went a very nice slightly warm gray. As it goes, the toner she’d used faded after three months and my own silvery grays are growing beautifully but neutral, whereas the colored hair got brassy. Friends will tell you about it so ya know when it’s time :D I really want to be independent versus spending tons of money and time at the salon, so while at a beauty store to buy a powder brush I asked about toners and they quickly recommended this hair toner plus a Wella processor to do the job. I have a lot of very sick long hair, and the entire bottle +2 parts developer was jussst enough on my head. Any less and I’d need to buy two bottles of each . It really was easy. I just squirted my hair with a water bottle to lose damp, mix the developer and color in a bowl with a hair color brush. Then with gloves on grabbed gobs of it and worked it in from the ends, until I got close to my natural color line. Right now I have about 3 inches of my natural gray/silver roots. Then I took the hair color brush and with some product on it brushed it up towards my own color until met it all around the edges of my hairlines. I also roughly picked up chunks at a time and did it throughout my head versus bothered with foils which are overkill I’d say. This isn’t color, it’s just toner. And I would really recommend that approach. Instructions, people and the Internet recommend but after waiting 20 to 25 minutes you then work the toner into your whole head of hair, including your neutral natural gray roots. I did this but I won’t do it again. If you’re growing out gray that are neutral and you have brassy colored hair that you’re trying to match to it, just skip the step of working it into your roots. Even five minutes on the roots shifted it a little more cool and towards purple and I didn’t need that at all. Still, it turned out nice and neutral overall. I’ll definitely do this regularly, every few months. It does have a very slight dullness to it but as I understand it, this is the best you get unless you also get highlights. It was the same way when I got it professionally done and my hairdresser knows a ton about color chemicals. This toner is what will help me grow my grays out, with occasional highlight tweaks from my hairdresser. And I have two years worth of hair length :)

Fantastic toner. Have been using this for years.
Cannot stress enough how much I love this product. The color of the toner covers my gray and adds a rich ashy depth to my existing color. I have been using this product for years now. It is very gentle on hair and lasts approximately a month before having to reapply.

Maravilloso 🥰🥰🥰
I recently tried a hair toner and I’m honestly impressed with the results. After lightening my hair, I noticed some unwanted yellow and brassy tones, and this toner helped neutralize them beautifully. Hair toners are designed to adjust the tone of color-treated hair and cancel out unwanted undertones without changing the overall hair color.

Love this toner!
I would definitely use this toner again. I bought the T14 as it was recommended for orange hair. I only kept it on for 10 to 15 minutes as I just bleached my hair and didn’t want to damage it too much. I have to be honest I did my own highlights with a kit and I’m happy with the results. It still a little orange but again happy! Recommend it!

Perfect light blonde
Colorcharm toners have always been my favorite for toning my blonde at home . It's easy to use and there's so many options to choose from or mix and match to get your perfect toned blonde. t14 his a mix between blue and violet that tones unwanted brassy orange the and yellows into a pale light blonde.

Great toner
It brought my bleached hair to a cool tone that im super happy with. The product has a strong smell but that’s common for toner. It was easy to mix and apply as well.

Very gray
I have very light yellow bleach blonde hair. I did about 1toner to 2.5 developer ratio and left it on my hair for about 30 mins total including application which was around 10 mins alone. The second pic is my before, it was too yellow. My hair now looks too gray for my preference. I was hoping for a white look. Next time i will mix 1:3 ratio and see my outcome. But it gets 5 stars because it’s spot on to the color on the box haha but I’ll be honest, in person it looks more silver/gray so be very careful. It can quickly turn your hair ash blue. Luckily i diluted it slightly with more developer.

First time coloring my hair in 10 years!
I'm 39 and I've been coloring my hair either myself or at the salon since I was 13. I last had it done 4 years ago and let my natural dark blonde/light brown grow out. After 2 years of my natural color, I missed the blonde, so I got bleach, toner and developer to do it myself. I got the t10 pale blonde as it has a blue violet undertone and I wanted to cover my bases. (If you google 'wella toner undertones' you can find a chart.) I used a cap because I haven't foiled in 11 years and didn't trust myself. I parted my hair slightly to the side, pulled hair through every hole on top, every other on back, and let it sit 30 minutes. I then shampooed the bleach out with the cap still on, before blow drying, and adding toner. I let the toner sit for 25 minutes, then shampooed twice and deep conditioned. I then slept with a hair mask and shower cap for extra hydration. It's not perfect, I do have some brandy hues, but for my first time in 11 years, I'm happy with it! I'll probably tone again in 2 weeks. Pictures provided are 1. after washing the bleach and drying. (It was definitely bright yellow, but the super yellow chunk on top is the first section I added toner to, which is why it looks so much brighter than the rest of the hair.) 2. After rinsing toner (hair is wet). 3. The next day after hair is dry and styled. I already knew I preferred Wella toners, but I had never used the pale blonde. I love that it has a mix of both cool and warm undertones and will definitely use it again!
