Korg MA-2 Digital Metronome for Orchestral Instruments - Blue/Black

I've been using the Korg MA-2 for a while now and I couldn't be happier. It's the perfect metronome for daily practice; it's very intuitive to use, and its compact size means I can carry it in any pocket. The sound is clear and can be heard perfectly even when I'm practicing with acoustic instruments. The battery life is surprisingly good. Highly recommended for any musician looking for precision and simplicity.I use it mainly for my doumbek practice sessions.

i use this as my drum click. some have said the sound is unpleasant but i think thats the point. it needs to stand out from everything else. i like the size.

Bought this as I'm learning to play guitar. It works well and seems to maintain a steady beat. It's pretty easy to use for a beginner. I think there are other functions that I haven't quite figured out, but setting the standard beat at a specific tempo is easy to set up. The sound if loud enough, but not horribly obnoxious. The screen is easy to read and the buttons work well.

I use this to time some exercises that I do to strengthen my hands. It helps me count off the seconds that I need to hold each of my exercise reps. I know that this is not the normal use for a metronome, but it is very nice for me.

Purchased this to replace my Korg MA-30 that was finally starting to fall apart after nearly 20 years of faithful service. Unfortunately I made the mistake of not taking this metronome out of the box immediately. I assumed it would function very similarly to the MA-30. As soon as I did turn it on I was struck by the ear piercing tone of this metronome's click. Desperately I searched through the manual for a way to change to the pitch of the click but there is none. I made this grim discovery outside of the item's return window, so I guess it will be keeping time in my trash can. Did anyone at Korg actually listen to this thing before they started mass producing it?

Works well, the tapping in feature is quite helpful. However the metronome sound is a very irritating high squeaky pitch which I can't use with my singers. I do still use it for checking and setting tempos.

Works fine. Battery lasts long. Full volume is quite loud. Handy stuff.
