I accidentally purchased 2 nearly identical fans at the same time. This one is FAR better. The remote is very simple so it’s easy to use in the dark when a hot flash hits and then again in an hour when you’re freezing. Lots of power for a small fan, and not much noise.

I don’t write reviews often, but I couldn’t wait to write this one. This inexpensive, American made Fan is incredible. It is super stylish, has high quality controls/switches, moves a shit ton of air for its small size and is quiet. I’m super impressed as companies now use plastics instead of metals etc., Holmes made a mostly plastic product that feels substantial, looks amazing, works amazing and is bargain priced. I hope I’ve conveyed how superb this Holmes fan is.

Update: Used some black nail polish to darken the button lights and new battery helped a lot. Loud, super bright light not good for sleeping and the remote is weak. The loud I can get used to, the light I can put a piece of tape over but the weak remote isn't good. It wouldn't work across the room. I bought it for nightime use and I wanted to throw it out the window the first night. I got it used so it was half price otherwise it'd be returned.

This is an excellent fan for the money. It’s compact form and high power make it suitable for smaller spaces without sacrificing airflow. A little oscillation would be nice, but for the money it can’t be beat.

Although this fan looks cool, it is not consistent with airflow, speed or noise. I've had it a couple months now and it rattles randomly throughout the night (I sleep with it on). It will randomly have stronger bursts of air and then basically disappear where you can't tell if its on. It worked well in the beginning but I'm on the search for a new fan now. It does not have the same quality as my previous Holmes fans which I had for over a decade.

If you're a 'fan sleeper's this is the fan for you. I recently replaced my 10+ year old early model Blizzard fan(just got old and worn out) with this new model and I love it. Lowest setting is pretty quiet and higher settings are perfect for white noise for sleeping. The remote is a game changer, turning the fan off when it's time to get out of bed makes it a lot easier in the winter. I only wish there was a way to dim or turn off the power light.

I needed to replace my ridiculously expensive orbital oscillating remote control fan because it suddenly stopped working. I’m a fan sleeper so I needed something quick and I couldn’t really afford to replace my old one with the same- I think it must’ve been on sale when I bought it. I looked at a million fans, read reviews and settled on this one. I don’t really need it to be orbital or oscillating but I do need the remote. I actually like this fan better than my old one. It’s quieter and moves air better.

And the remote that comes with it is really convenient and I love everything about itI would give this more than five stars if that was an option everything about this fan is perfect it looks small but it has a lot of power
