Superb Quality | Outstanding Customer Service = Support This Brand
I drink lots of tea and flavor them with various herbs, spices, etc. I've always wondered what the teas originating from Siberia taste like. On my first brew, the flavor turned out bland and there were no aroma, unlike comments by other reviewers. On my 2nd try, I brewed larger amount of tea (equivalent to what is typically 4 teabags vs. 1) and it was then that I got the wonderful flavor and fragrance. I typically brew for one person but learned that unlike other teas, this blend has to be brewed for increased volume for best effect. Perhaps this is due to the fact that its many plant components should release their flavor together for the cumulative effect. Taiga tea has a mild grassy and pleasant flavor and aroma overall, almost close to a variant of darjeeling tea. It also pairs very well with rosemary and spices like cinnamon. If brewed with a tea infuser for a cup serving, it gives you many cups of tea, even if not leaving it in hot water for the suggested 10-12 minutes. Even a brief dipping will give you an excellent brew. Its other advantage is that it is caffeine free, naturally! Uniquely, the brand is backed by a superb and outstanding customer service who goes out of their way to create a wonderful customer experience. Any brand that does this over some soulless corporation offering inferior products that wreck the planet should be rewarded. Because of the quality of the tea, uniqueness of the blend and the customer experience, I'll stock on this brand in moving forward and am looking to try their other blends. Highly recommended! Also very gift-able!

Great alternative to tea or coffee
Very pleasant tasting tea, has a wonderful aroma. I’ve been able to replace my morning coffee with cream with Ivan chai with a bit of cream. It tastes similar to regular black tea but has no caffeine. Also try Taiga Beauty from the same company, smells and tastes even more exquisite.

Best of the Fireweed teas I’ve tried so far.
This comes from the same plant we call Fireweed here in the US. I’ve tried a couple of brands and this one is my favorite. My impression is that because the leaves are bruised and oxidized to develop their nuanced flavor the same way real tea leaves are means there will be considerable variation from producer to producer based on the exact technique they use.

The price is too high
I purchased this tea last year and enjoyed it. I considered reordering, but the price has increased from $17 to $34 since last year, which is disappointing.

Second order has the serious issue
When I ordered for the first time, I received a very nice product. Fermented nice and taste as should. Second order was covered by wrap with stamps of the dates of issued and expiration on used paper. The main surprise was when I tried brew this tea: the strong smell of cow poops. This is not a joke. Do not recommend this product.
