This item arrived faster than expected and in excellent condition. It is a very precise tool and I find it very useful for my overall purposes. It is very thin but one must consider that it is not a 'tool' but a precision instrument that we just use, at times, for our 'hobbies'. Very satisfied.

Excelent ruler

I bought this to use in book folding. It is hard to beat the accuracy if this guage.. it is far beyond easier than trying to mark the book by hand. A little expensive for this purpose but necessary if you are a perfectionist.

This tool makes it easy, accurate and fast to mark hole locations. The laser cut slots and holes guarantee the middle of the pencil line is dead on. The T-rule feature makes it easy to draw a line a desired distance from the an edge of wood. Draw lines from two different edges to mark a hole location with ease. Doing this with a combination square takes much longer to achieve the same accuracy. I wish I had bought one years ago.

I use this for crafts and it works great. Easy to read, and use. 10/10 definitely.

Expensive and I wasn't thrilled. I know a lot of people like this but I had trouble controlling it on my book.

I'm so much in love with this thing, I can't imagine the life without it. OK, that may be a little exaggerated, but I find that I am using it every day, many times a day, and please have in mind that I have 2 combination squares, several speed squares, many other carpenter's tools, but I always grab the Incra rule. First of all, it is extremely precise. I mean, really precise. No need to file something to make it true. You can dismount the square slider in seconds and just use the ruler, and then when you re-mount it, just press it against the lip and it is again perfectly square. Using it together with a good quality 0.5mm pencil (fits in the marking holes) is so convenient I wonder how did I manage to mark things before. Definitely recommended.

Exactly what I needed for my projects.

Ohhhh my. I LOVE this tool. Pros: so easy to set up (need a square, admittedly) but one set up it’s SO useful. I have been stuffing around with all kinds of measuring tapes and squares but this thing is an absolute delight. The tiny little holes for each mm make marking out so easy. The only criticism is it is very thin metal. It’s a good thing for precision marking, but it’s delicate. You need to take care of this item. Love it though. Saved me a headache more than once already.

Get it? It's a ruler. Bought it for my wife and she couldn't be happier. She uses it for book folding and the difference in the final product is night and day versus her old method of using two rulers. This is a marking t-square with millimetre-spaced cutouts just large enough to fit the tip of a 0.5mm mechanical pencil. At 30cm long, it is more than long enough to mark books the size of an encyclopedia.
