Batman: Hush [DVD] [2019]

Awesome movie slightly weaken by unnecessary slight twist to an otherwise classic Batman story. Like Gotham By Gaslight, this is another good Selina/Catwoman or Bruce/Batman movie even perfectly capturing the iconic Kiss scene on the rooftop. Some hated the extra scenes but I loved them from Bane to Poison Ivy, to a little Superman and Lois Lane romance/action scene, and even a cameo from C lister villian The Riddler. It's refreshing seeing other Batman villains get a little shine besides the Joker and Harley Quinn in all every Batman movie live action or animated. Which is why even though the twist was okay. It would have been nice to have a true Hush stories since he is one of Batman's adversaries I am least familiar with. This movie also delves into the psychology of both Bruce and Selina's characters and how until Bruce lets go of Batman, he could never truly be happy. The saddest part of Bruce is he will sadly never let go of Batman because Batman is who he truly is and Bruce is only the mask he must wear in public to continue to be the masked crusader. I really enjoyed this movie with many favorite scenes. One of my favorites is Damien's small cameo reminding Bruce, who is on his way to a date with Selina, of his horrible choice in women including his mother. It was also cool to see Dick/Nightwing root for Selina and Bruce to get together. The ending is open ended but is also Bruce's reality unless he lets go of his alter ego and what could be if he did. BTW, this is another movie with a different Region code from the USA. So unless your DVD player can play All Regions, you will be upset with this purchase and unable to enjoy a great Batman movie unless you are a purist who like classic stories told unaltered.

Great animated movie. The Batman at his best, very twisted storyline, excellent ending.

I received my product of the DVD the movie I put it in my DVD to see it but it did not and could not see it at all I gave it to my son so I can put it in his PlayStation and you cannot see it either so whoever selling the product you have to make sure that it's a good product every December me another one cuz I already pray for one not for another one thank you

A great story about Bruce's childhood friend that figured out Bruce is Batman and wants revenge. He's an incredible brain surgeon with lots of smarts that uses bad guys and heroes against Batman. Causes Batman and Catwoman become lovers. Batman even tells her who he really is and takes her to the Batcave. Afred, Robin, Nightwing all approve and like Batman's new attitude because of her. However things don't stay great because she doesn't share his moral code.

I love batman and the others heroes in the dc comic when I was little I look up to them from helping people

Not an exact words to words nor characters to characters, but pretty faithful adaptation. The twist got me off guard. Not sure if I'll ever liked it, but not as bad as everyone's making it to be. Since this is a movie adaptation, expect several things to be changed, condensed, or cut. I like how they handled Batman Catwoman relationship here, better than the comic. Animation still solid. My only complain is the voice acting. It irritates me the most. Almost every character feels out of place. Not because the familiar voices are not here (Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill). It's just the way they delivered it, that seems off to me.

I used the movie for a pleasant distraction.

I was expecting a relatively faithful adaptation of the well-regarded graphic novel, but what a disappointment. About 20% is taken from the book, the rest veers off into wildly uncharted territory, a wholesale rewrite that is a turgid and pointless travesty. Shame on those involved. I'm only giving two stars for the 20% that I recognize from the novel. And even that seems very second rate by DC animated movie standards.

I bought this for my son because he's a huge batman fan. When I gave it to him, he was so happy, especially when he couldn't find it anywhere. He couldn't throw it into the dvd player fast enough! Thanks so much!

DC ha fatto un ottimo lavoro con questo film, l'animazione è ottima (nello stesso stile dei precedenti film di Batman che fanno parte del ciclo new 52) la trama del film non è del tutto uguale al fumetto a cui è inspirato, troviamo alcuni personaggi che non erano presenti ma la storia risulta ugualmente convincente e scoprire chi c'è sotto le bende di HUSH vi lascerà a bocca aperta!

In my opinion "Batman Hush" is pretty good animation, interesting story. Overall it is enjoyable. Recommended.
