Best skin barrier ever. No sting

My insurance does not cover this item, they only pay for the adhesive pads. I used these during my hospital stay, they were so nice. I have used the adhesive wipes before, and was not very impressed with them. Having basically an adhesive applicator shaped like a small lollipop makes stoma changes easier. I use one side for the first pass close to the stoma, and the other side to make a second pass at the outer edge of the first. My appliance usually stays attached for 6-7 days, with no issues. Just change out your bags as needed.

Cavilon skin barrier has been an excellent product for my husband, the skin around the urostomy stoma is in perfect condition. We tried other products when my husband had to have a urostomy in 2016, when our daughter, who is a NICU nurse told us about cavilon skin barrier, we tried and have been using it since, to me is expensive but worth it. Thank you

If you are using barrier wipes, this wand is simple and effective to use. Essentially, it's a pad on a stick, but having the stick gives more control and seems easier. Admittedly the cost is higher than a box of wipes, but the convenience is something to consider.

Not only very easy to use with the Popsicle stick design, but makes the appliance adhere better than the little stamp-sized preps. Wish I had discovered them sooner. They are more expensive but worth it-only having to use one.

It does exactly what it is supposed to do for post-surgery wound care. It's expensive but totally worth it to have the peace of mind that the wound will stay dry in the shower.

Best barrier on the market.

love the easy access to barrier, unfortunately im allergic to it. Got all itchy and red after applying it 1 hr later.

Very good product, worth its price.
