Nice portable mini PC
I like this PC as it is a portable one that I can slide it in the backpack and carry around. The speed of the PC is fast. My suggestion to those who are interested in the mini PC is that when you set up the PC, you need to pay attention to the options. I first turned on most options Microsoft suggests and the PC installed many apps that are consuming a lot of RAM, which makes it slow. I had to deleted all unnecessary apps, and PC is running very smoothly. I have no issue with running multiple large software simultaneously. If you have a monitor with VGA port like me, then you will need a VGA to HDMI adapter since a HDMI-HDMI port is provided with mini PC. Since VGA does not transfer audio, HDMI does. If you use VGA-HDMI adapter and a headphone jack on mini PC at the same time, you won't hear sound until you change the setup of the sound or volume control options. Overall, it is pretty good mini PC. Once you know how to set up, you will definitely enjoy it.

It works!
I’ve only had the unit for a few days. So far, excellent results. The computer was easy to configure using standard Windows 10. I’m using it for one specialized Amateur Radio (Ham Radio) purpose. I downloaded the software and drivers to the new computer and it works perfectly. The computer is very quick. Boot up is fast. Even though the Bios doesn’t support power on after power failure, the computer’s off/on switch stays on (mechanically)in the event of power failure. So the unit powers up after a power failure. That was important to me since I want the computer on 24/7. I had one question about the bios. I emailed tech support and got prompt response.

Great, but noisy
The U500-H Mini PC Intel Core i3-5005U Mini Computer performs wonderfully. After using Chromebooks & Chromeboxes for a few years, I decided to come back to Windows. I'm pleased with the decision. The software selections was a part of that consideration. The only gripe is that it has a noisy fan. Great value for the price. #DeColonizeTheMind

Size isn't everything
This tiny computer was purchased as a "rainy day" backup if my home PC went out. Eventually it did and I put this into play - it performed just as well as my massive Dell tower, and freed up tons of space on my desk. I'll get another one of these as another backup, because any PC can go at any time - an electrical discharge from static electricity caused my Dell to go - so be prepared and always have a backup. I use this for watching anime youtube, and netflix, etc..and it's every bit as good as my dell, if not better. For the price, it's truly a bargain. I've had it in use for over a month, and it's been fantastic. Speed is very good - no drawbacks at all.

Tiny but does the job well
Since my kids are "distance learning", one of the laptops decided to have intermittent wifi and bluetooth connection problems so frequently that I got tired of dealing with that older laptop. Since I had a spare 24" monitor anyway, I decided to replace the laptop with this mini pc instead. It has been about two weeks of use so far and everything is working as expected. I just had to endure the dreaded windows 10 updates when setting it up. My kid is happy with the setup and enjoys it more than working on a 13.3" laptop. I will be mounting it to the back of the monitor later. For now, the is the setup - see photo.

Great performance!!
I was very impressed with its performance for its size. I have purchased other mini computers which were not very good at all. I was a little skeptical at first because it has the i3 processor, but once I set it up, it really exceeded my expectations. Multitasking was a breeze with no lags or freezing. Very fast when loading up any page, especially youtube. Also had zero problems streaming with Netflix and Hulu. The work that I do tends to be a lot over the computer and even with using major programs that I have to download gave me zero problems. All in all I would definitely recommend this for anyone who does some light to medium usage.

A disaster
Should be plug and play, right? Not so fast, first you have to call tech support when nothing works. Then you have to take the thing apart and put it back together just to get a screen, then you have to send it back when it won't read a brand new hard drive that you put in. Oh wait, the second one they send won't read at all because the SSD card won't come out with the stripped screw holding it in place for all eternity. The third one... FORGET IT!

Easy to reinstall with Ubuntu LTS
I was a little apprehensive given the lack of info about this little box online but after unpacking it took about 30 minutes to wipe out the Windows 10 install, drop Ubuntu LTS in place, and relocate it to running headless in the basement. It’s a cheap way to get a complete linux x86_64 system up and running with minimal fuss. Bonus that it came with HDMI and display port cables in box.
