Daniel Tiger's Potty Time! Children's Toilet Training Sound Book for Daniel Tiger Fans

This book is a definite must to potty train a stubborn toddler. The rhymes with the sounds are catchy and short. My son loves this. This helped me along with a set schedule and other tips to potty train my 4 year old who just didn't want to leave diapers.

Best potty book I’ve found yet! The songs are so catchy too! This one keeps my toddler interested the longest while on the potty and it teaches that when you have to go potty you stop and go right away, flush the toilet, then wash hands and go on your way.

My granddaughter loved this book! She memorized the steps for successful potty training from it. She likes to press the sound buttons.

I bought this book for my daughter (18 mo) who is not yet ready to potty train, but I wanted to soften her up to the idea. This book currently lives in my hallway, just outside of the bathroom. This book has three buttons that make a moderate volume of sound and play the following: "When you have to go potty, stop and go right away!" "(flushing sound)" "Flush and wash and be on your way!" The story is typical of a potty training board book - very straight forward. The story has images that match to the buttons to allow easy association with the sounds, the pictures, and the overall message. Currently, my daughter will run after us when we use the bathroom, and if we need the privacy, she will simply play with the book. So far, she seems to have grasped the basic steps, hitting the "When you have to go potty stop and go right away!" button when we go in, the "(flushing sound)" after we flush, and she will press the "Flush and wash and be on your way!" button when we wash our hands or if she feels that we are taking too long to go. Very sturdy construction with a convenient handle. This product has made me interested in testing out other Daniel Tiger sound books and similar products, as the quality of construction, the clarity of sound recordings, and the clarity of the message to be conveyed are all very high.

This book has potential, (which is why the 4 stars) especially as it shows Daniel Tiger sitting on the potty. A couple of the pages' story lines are basic enough to use, but I SO wish the other pages showed & said something like: in the morning when I wake up I use the potty, or after lunch I use the potty. Instead: he's at a music store with lots of instruments in it & the story is that there's a potty at the music store. It shows store fronts & the idea is presenting there are potties inside those too. That's way beyond what is helpful or understandable for a beginner potty user.

This is a cute little book for any Daniel Tiger toddler fans, who are just learning to be potty trained.

OMG this book is PERFECT for my Daniel Tiger loving 2 year old. We haven’t started potty training *yet*, but I’m getting him ready by reading lots of potty-themed books. This book is short, simple, & soooo sweet. The greatest part about this book is the little song buttons at the top. The book itself is a tiny, compact size. It has a little handle on top, and is the perfect size to store on top of a little potty! The handle makes it easy for tiny hands to grab and carry around. Each button is also shown throughout the book; there’s a picture on each button, and on every page you’ll see that symbol/picture. As you’re reading the story, that symbol will show up, which means it’s time to push the correlating button! This is perfect for my son right now; he’s recently gotten interested in matching games, so it’s really easy for him to match the symbol to the button. All I have to do is point out the little circle in the story, and he finds it up top and plays the song. Each song is super short, so this won’t be an annoying or loud book that plays music nonstop (🙌🏼). We have another interactive Daniel Tiger book (Friendly Songs? I think), but those buttons only play melodies and don’t have words. It’s cute, but my son loves hearing Daniel’s voice. One of the buttons in this book also has the sound of a flushing toilet, which he thinks is hilarious. The songs are really catchy and easy to memorize, so I’ll be singing these whenever it’s time to use his potty or wash his hands. I highly recommend getting this if potty training is on the horizon! Boys and girls will love it. And seriously, less than $6?! You can’t beat it. Yes, it’s really simple, but sometimes the less, the better. Hope this helps! 😉

Gift for 2 year old grand daughter. Has helped a lot with learning about the potty.

This book encourages potty training in a fun way. The message that a child should not hesitate to ask to use the potty in any location comes through successfully. The tune played is super catchy.

A very well written book. My daughter was getting too distracted and wasn't making it to the toilet on time. This book has really encouraged her to go on time and she is now proud of herself. We'll done to the author.
