Worked Perfectly!
This repair kit worked perfectly! Our Samsung LN40A550 TV was taking upwards of 5 minutes to turn on so I decided to take a chance and replace the capacitors. No issues whatsoever. I have experience with soldering so that helped a lot. From start to finish the whole repair took about 90 minutes and that included giving everything inside the TV a good vacuuming to remove the accumulated dust. If you have one of these Samsung models and it's showing symptoms of having bad capacitors, it is well worth replacing them. It's much cheaper than buying a new TV.

replaced the two buldging capacitors with the ones supplied in this kit and now my tv works again. i am sure i could have found the capacitors for a cheaper price if i shopped at an electronics store.

The repair kit did not include all the capacitors needed. As a result, am unable to proceed with repairs. Disappointed

when I'm able to get it to power up then the TV works perfectly fine. I'm guessing its the control board problem
Unfortunately, the caps did not fix my problem. My TV won't power on, black screen, red led keeps blinking. Some times it goes into a loud screeching noise. Other time it starts up after a very long period of time (10min). Intermittently, when I'm able to get it to power up then the TV works perfectly fine. I'm guessing its the control board problem.

Excellent pack of capacitors
Excellent pack of capacitors! Even came with some solder, a wick and other helpful bits for repairing the board. I quickly found the blown capacitors, switched them out with the ones from this kit, and the TV is once again functional!

Correct capacitors for this Samsung.
Perfect for the job. My son was able to repair our TV and save us hundreds. That said, I'll never buy another Samsung TV again. This is the second time it's burned up the capacitors.

Easy set for what we needed.
Had the correct parts for my needs. Yes, you may only need two out of 14 capacitors, but you are ready for the next cap to go. the videos were nice refreshers on how to remove and then insert the new caps. If you know what you are looking for and you only need one or two parts, you may be better off someplace else. But for a quick one stop shop, it was what was needed.
