It worked great with my s8 plus phone. I even did tests to see the difference between my phones mic and this mic and the difference was definitely noticable. The build quality is good and it was cool to see that they included a dead cat to block out wind and other noises if you need to record outside. By me being a youtuber and owning a camera the only downside I would say would be the price. I felt it was a little much for a phone mic and like I said earlier I'd you cant afford a mirrorless or dslr to record on this is a nice investment but I would start by saving money on an external mic and get something better to record on. I managed to use the included tool to keep it on the phone between the adaptor and the include rubber piece, but I wouldn’t shake it a lot otherwise it could fall off. With a headphone jack phone it would be very snug. Still worked great and build quality is solid! Full metal. Sounds great at well. Comica makes some good budget equipment.
