It is fairly simple to set up though. All you do is look on the side of the clock and set the music button to on, turn the volume control button to the right to set it, insert 3 'c' batteries in the back, Hang it on the wall. Hang the pendulum on it and the pine cone accessories. Then to set the time you have to move the BIG hand one hour at a time and wait for the bird to cuckoo and the music to play. You repeat this step for each hour until you get to the correct time. It is important that you let the bird cuckoo and the music play each time.
