Review: Tough alloy, didn’t break under extreme stress. - What a great tool! Used it to remove broken harmonic balancer that had broken bolts in the holes used for the standard puller. This tool is tough, the alloy is strong enough to withstand a lot of cranking. Good tool to have.
Review: So far, so good - As a “shade tree” mechanic I buy mostly Gearwrench stuff nowadays. I ordered this puller set to remove the brake pulley from a 1969 Sears suburban transaxle for a rebuild. Pulley has probably never been removed. There wasn’t enough clearance to get standard 3 jaw pullers that I bought years ago off the import boat. The lower profile jaws easily cleared the case. The indexing feature made setting them up a 1 handed affair. The most difficult part was figuring out how to install the jaws in the yoke. A couple hits with my GW 17mm impact on my high torque Ridgid 1/2” cordless, and the pulley popped off. Saved me lots of time and headaches.

**Q: Will this work to remove a wheel hub?**
A: Most every hub assembly is a bolt on.. but if its bound up and needs pulled this will do the trick. However the most common tool for pulling bound up hub assemblies is a slide hammer style puller

**Q: How thick are the feet? In other words how low profile are they? Can they slide in between the bearing and a fairly tight location?**
A: The small grippers are ⅛” thick, the larger 3/16. They are of soft enough metal to rework with a file if necessary.

**Q: What is the reach on this tool. In other words how far down a shaft will this reach to pull a bearing.**
A: This is for smaller, light work. The max reach on the big puller is maybe 7 inches. Its super high quality and a great tool, but its not big.

**Q: Work on a c 4 corvette?**
A: Set includes 2 ton 2 or 3 jaw internal/external ratcheting puller and 5 ton 2 or 3 jaw internal/external ratcheting puller
