The working temperature for sculpting liquid isomalt shapes does not burn the hands and can be handled. Liquid isomalt is initially very hot, [about the same as a sugar caramel which is well over three hundred degrees which I think will melt the acetate at that point. Acetate sheets [guitar sheets] are not recommended for the oven and I am not sure what the heat tolerance limit is.
