A friend of mine at work went to Egypt (she's from there originally), and before she left she said, "oh I know you play drums, I'll bring you back a doumbek."I said, "ok cool!" Thinking she never would. but she totally did!That was about 7 years ago, so recently I noticed the head needed replacing. I bought this head and it sounds better now than it ever did.Meinl makes great percussion gear - this head has a nice low frequency resonance when tuned right, and the classic high pitch rim sound as well.Great drumhead.

Didnt fit at all I returned it.to small doesnt fit any darbukas I dont know why they sell this product waste of time.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Faithful To The Original Heads

I am so glad Amazon is now carrying these! I had heard they are hard to find. Looks like we have no need to worry about searching around for head replacement for Meinl 3000's. It shipped quickly but fulfillment had a small delay.It looks identical to the two that came with my drum--same white background and Meinl logo. It appears free of defects. I bought this as a backup and when I actually put the head on I will do an update here to describe the replacement process and tonality.
