No problems with this, just stretch it out a few times first and use a square knot to tie it off. I will use a dab of jewelry glue to reinforce the knot and will slip it inside of a bead (when able to do so, not always). Great value for the amount of product versus cost; better than what I can find locally.

Great elastic string, slim yet very sturdy. I was previously using a 1 mm string but had difficulties tying it off. No problems with this, just stretch it out a few times first and use a square knot to tie it off. I will use a dab of jewelry glue to reinforce the knot and will slip it inside of a bead (when able to do so, not always). Great value for the amount of product versus cost; better than what I can find locally.

These are a great value! Each color is really beautiful, truly colored like "gems" I would say. They are the perfect length and width for my projects. I don't make bracelets with these, however they definitely would make nice, strong somewhat elastic strings! I am using them for picking pads, and these are perfect for my daughter. She isn't snapping herself with these like she was with the other brand. No harm coming to her while she works on curing her ocd and works on regulating her autism is a win win for me!
