vegetable wash 1000ml

Love this stuff. Lived in Mexico for years and disinfected all of our veggies with it with no problems so it works great!! It isn’t cheap in either the US or Mexico, but it lasts a long time. I use a capful for every about every 4 quarts of water. I soak the produce fully immersed for 10 minutes—or 10 minutes each side if flipping produce over. I soak soft, edible-skinned produce first, moving on to celery, carrots, and items like avocados and bananas last. Produce that likes to float—like apples tomatoes and pears—are easier to wash if you the basin only full enough to half the height of the fruit, so that the fruit is sitting firmly on the bottom of the basin and can’t float, and then flipping after 10 minutes to the other side, using only a half cap-full or less. It doesn’t remove wax residue, like some ‘washes’. Its purpose is to kill bacteria. You don’t need to rinse after disinfection. It is safe to consume being ionized silver. You can even use it to purify water—though I didn’t use it for this purpose. I wash my shellfish in it too. I even travel with a tiny Microdyn. I don’t know what I would do without it!!! It has no smell and leaves no taste. Super easy!

I have used Microdyn on a daily basis for a fruit/veggie wash, I just add to my spray bottle with recommended amount of water. For larger amount, I add a couple capfuls to a large bucket when soaking my garden greens amd leave for 15 min or so. It is supposed to kill ameoba or parasites also. One large bottle lasts me several months as it is a concentrate.

I use this product to disinfect all fruits and vegetables, and it doesn't affect their taste or smell.

Is exactly what it says; probably a life-time supply ... well, at least a few years. I certainly won't need to reorder this for a very long time.

In Mexico, all food is washed with Microdyne. I go to the US, and I see the same fruits and vegetables from Mexico that I eat in Mexico, but Americans are not washing them. Use your Microdyne, and avoid things like hepatitis, etc. that can be transferred to vegetables and fruit fruits in the picking process in the fields of Mexico. All you have to remember is that there are no bathrooms in the picking fields , where people work all day… And you will wash!

I lived in Mexico in the 90s when I was a Child and got pretty sick from eating contaminated fruit. After that scare my mom always cleaned fruits and veggies with this product. It leaves no taste or odor and you only really need a few drops so a Liter will last a long time.

Excelente articulo para esta época donde el agua esta muy contaminada por las constantes sequias en Mexico, la verdad lo único que haría falta es que pudieran mandarnos algún dosificador o darnos una opción de rellenado para los goteros, pero el precio es excelente.
