And the article explains that, in some cases, the manufacturer will not include this info in the ingredients panel. I don’t think Amazon will allow me to link to the article, but it’s on a site called AOR and it’s titled “Does Your Magnesium Glycinate Contain Magnesium Oxide?” **Q: Are there any additives in this product?** A: The ingredient listing on the bottle that I received is exactly as shown on Amazon's website ingredient listing. Nothing added, just the "vegetable cellulose capsule," which contains all of the listed ingredients. In my opinion, based on my experience, this is a product that I would recommend. **Q: It says Buffered, buffered with what exactly?** A: Mag oxide (as well as cal oxide) can act as a buffering agent to acids. Many people have stomach issues when the mag is in a citric acid base (ie mag citrate) so the addition of a small amount of mag oxide can be very helpful to people with sensitive stomachs including my mother who is normally not able to do the citrates. **Q: how big are these capsules?** A: We use Size 00 capsules which have dimensions of 0.796 x 0.336 inches (or 2 cm x 0.8 cm).
