Review: My favorite is Black Flags - Ok, so let's put this up front: the issues this game launched with seem to have been patched out. I've been playing it for weeks and have not experienced any problems. Now to the review of the gameplay. First off, a little about my history with the AC franchise. I have been playing since the first one, and the only major one I skipped was the American Revolution one. My favorite is Black Flags, followed very closely by the AC II. I have played these on both the Xbox and the PlayStation. Story line: This is a good story. The plot links are there and the quests are varied. Following the murder of an important figure to you, the story moves you through the investigation to unravel the conspiracy. It's set against the backdrop of the French Revolution, and there is enough chaos in the streets that killing thugs barely attracts any attention. The only knock on story I have is that Arno, our main character, somehow already possesses the agility and training and needed to be an assassin. Prior to joining the guild, he's already parkour-ing his way around the city, etc. About the only thing he got from joining the guild was the hidden blade. Immersion: The graphics are gorgeous. The voice acting is stellar. And most important, the "out of history" portion - that part that reminds you that you're some nerd strapped to a machine in a lab - is kept to a minimum. I don't miss the "game company" part of Black Flag at all (while that was interesting at first, it was far less riveting than sailing my pirate ship and looting other ships). I haven't finished the game, but I've spent almost all of my time in the story-line thus far. Skills: Couple of new things here, but nothing major. As with every AC game, you earn them a little at a time, so you get pretty good at each one before you get the next skill. You also get some choices on each unlock tier. Online play: So this is the big one for this game - the first time you get to play mission modes with other people. Which means that you need to talk into your mic and hear what others have to say. The "social club" is part of your hideout, and it adds a nice element of feeling like you belong to a secret society of your own (a secret society of assassins within the assassin's guild, no less!). It's fun, but by no means a required portion of the game. Co-op missions are spread throughout Paris, but there is more to do in the game that is single player than co-op. FYI - you need a PSN or Xbox Live account to play online. Mechanics: Money comes fast, so you can buy your upgrades as you need them. Missions are rated based on difficulty as compared to the gear you have, so upgrade your gear to have a better chance of completing higher level missions. They give you multiple ways to achieve you assassinations, so you can tailor it to your play style. Face-to-face combat is standard - the usual block / roll and counter routine. They said they wanted to push us away from that type of game play this time around (as we're assassin's, not soldiers), but you can still get away with swash-buckling 6 guys at a time in many cases. One way that they encourage you not to linger, however, is that a lot more of the baddies in the group are willing to step back from the sword fight and shoot you with their guns, meaning you either better kill everyone quickly or start thinking about dropping your various grenades and disappearing. It only takes 2 or 3 bullets to kill you, and a long distance marksman can kill you with one shot. You can pick the different types of weapons that suit your play style and follow an upgrade path suited to that play style. Ditto for outfits that offer enhancements to various skills in your arsenal. Repetitiveness: This is always a question in the AC franchise, ever since the first. They do a good job of hiding that here, with the varied city districts and the adaption of the environment to the progression of the story. For example, I went into a mission once around a building where the streets were packed with throngs of people. At the conclusion of the mission, the building caught fire. Thereafter, going back to that spot revealed empty, quiet streets, and you only had to look a little up and down the plaza to see the roadblocks set up by French troops and the crowds of curious onlookers on the other side. It was a neat little trick, and I noticed it immediately because I had gotten used to the streets of Paris being a lot more chaotic than an organized military presence. The quests are varied, too, and even the ones that share a theme (e.g. "investigate a murder") are still varied enough in their details. You'll get hours and hours of game play here, and you'll enjoy it. Conclusion: Will this game rival Black Flags or AC II for me? I'm undecided, as yet. It's certainly excellent and certainly worth the price of admission. The scenery and city environment alone is the best it has ever been - the crowds, the setting - it just feels marvelously alive. Get it and enjoy it!
Review: What a game, Severely underrated at its current state. Perfect for the budget gamer. - For the lack of a 4.5 star rating it will pass as a 5 star game... I never played it when it first came out due to the massive explosion of complaints that erupted from the gaming community. So I waited until it was $15 and fixed. Holy helk is this game a lot of fun. First things first delete any negative reviews or complaints you've seen or heard about this game because they simply don't hold true to the present version of the game. I have a total of 20% total sync in this game and i'm guessing around 8-10 hrs. Never have I loved being so distracted from the main story and quests by looting chests, cleaning public crimes, grabbing cockades(cheeky), completing co-op missions the list goes on. There is just so much to do in this game. I had to make this review to give Ubisoft some justice they deserve. While it is completely unfair to those who bought the game on day one, the game has received countless updates, and Ubisoft could have just left it to die. Customization of your own Arno is great i personally like wearing a very sleek outfit with nothing that jumps eccentric. The colors for your outfits are great as well and I am sporting the Ubisoft blue which contains my favorite combination of colors possible: teal as the main, and yellow as the aux. The weapon choice is also fantastic, I personally love the long weapons (spears) compared to the one handed (swords), or heavy (Great swords). Combat has received some major enhancements with more difficulty and the removal of the quick time event feel. you make your own counters now with the parry and dodge buttons... This game has the most realistic feel to combat we have seen in an AC game. While there are more positives to this game there are very minor hinderances, again VERY minor, frame rate isn't the best, I hardly ever notice the fps as the graphics are amazing and I love love love the population in the streets of France, climbing can be extremely frustration and this does occasionally reach a med-high hinderance as it can be pretty annoying. Nothing else really took away from my gameplay experience thats why it is a 4.5. I am now going to rate all the AC titles from worst to best IMO. (Syndicate not included). 7:AC Revelations (Not one single fond memory of this game, I didn't enjoy it at all 6.5/10) 6:AC 3 (No comment 7.2/10) 5:AC Brotherhood (Truly a great game no doubt but severely overshadowed by its predecessor 9/10) 4:AC Unity (9/10) 3:AC 4 Black Flag (Got 100% completion loved every second of it, buy it if you haven't already 9.2/10) 2:AC 1 (Man I have so many great memories of this game, and it was freaking hilarious at times great entrance to a great series 9.5/10) 1:AC 2 (Where to even begin I love this game so much... It is in my top 5 games of all time for sure, it was perfect in every aspect, and I honestly believe if Ubisoft takes a 2 year break from AC again we could see something spectacular, if you haven't played this game before you absolutely need to! 10/10) AC Unity isn't the best, but in its current form is a solid entry in the series... if you do purchase this game and find yourself hating the first 30min-1hr get through it! If you don't you will miss an absolute blast of a game... My recommendation is to play the Co-op mission Heads Will Roll that is what grabbed me in and you will find it about 45min in... enjoy! i hope this review helped!

**Q: This should be great! An Assassins Creed game on PS4 not just being upgraded from PS3. What year will it be?**
A: In all honesty, Assassin's Creed is starting to get annoying, just like Call of Duty.  Open-world RPG games still rock the boat in my opinion.

**Q: Do I get the pre oder access code for pre ordering it**
A: I got a code from amazon time I placed my pre-order. The problem is, it was an invalid code, and now amazon wont give me another code.  I've talked to them several times now and they just keep brushing me off saying they know of the problem and will get back to me when it's fixed... well in three days it wont matter cause the game will be release and then the pre-order promotion will be gone.  I've already missed out on the spin to win promotion because of this.   Also let me state that this is not the first time I've had issues with amazon and pre-order promotional codes.   I wont be pre-ordering anything else from amazon after this.

**Q: The box art has "Limited Edition" at the top ~ What's special about it?**
A: Limited edition has one episode additional on the mission.

**Q: Wich one is better, Black Flag or Unity?**
A: I did not enjoy Black Flag - the assassin was not an assassin and was not enjoyable to play - he was a small improvement over Conner who also was not an assassin- neither character had a Creed other than greed and vengeance - Ezio had character - it seems to me that they are trying to recapture a bit of that in Unity - Black Flag was a pirate game.......I would never have bought a pirate game.....but I did because it said Assassin's Creed on it and I was very disappointed - Unity has run without a hitch for me and I am happy to play a character I do not despise - the story is not as well done as Assassin's Creed 2 though but it does feel like Ubisoft has found its way again with the franchise

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A.C. Altair/Ezio! Honest and Unbiased Review

I love this game so much that idk where to start! Im addicted. People complain about the performance but i havent had any. ATMOSPHERE OF THE GAME: The setting is great! There's people all over the streets of France and theyre always doing something such as fighting, robbing, protesting, grabbing coffee, interacting, etc. The people are not just walking around in groups like in the older games. If you have been an AC player since the time of Altair & Ezio like i have been and you miss the high walls of the holy land or the tall buildings of Italy and huge churches, the city being full of buildings rather than little bamboo houses, and if you miss the underground caves and roads from AC2 and Brotherhood then this game is for you. If you only like the swamps and oceans then go play Black Flag, AC3, or Rouge. I loved Black Flag & AC3 but AC Unity i love it alittle bit more. The map is huge that honestly it's overwhelming but in a good way. Theres just so much to do. THE HATE ON THIS GAME: Ive seen a lot of reviews from people that have recently joined the Creed since AC3 or 4. Since this game takes you back to how it all began i think theyre not use to these crowds and tight spots in the cities. Theyre used to shooting cannons and climbing trees with monkeys. Also they complain about the Parkour/Freerun mechanics because it's harder. Actually it's harder at first but once you get the hang of it, within like 10 minutes, everything becomes fluid and runs great. If you like it easy and just want to hold R2 to climb and freerun then this game isnt for you. Also i see a lot of hate on the fighting mechanics which are by far the best improvements to me! The fighting style is sort of like AC One. It's actually harder though and you will be killed. It isnt like the other AC games that you can easily counter people for hours and take on an entire army. In this game you will die with just 3 or more people attacking you. Also the hate on the performance issues. Ya Id be mad too if the game gave me a lot of performance issues on the launch but as of now everything is great. So thats not something you should be worried about anymore for anyone thinking of buying this game. THE STORY: I havent really played much of the story honestly since im so caught onto playing side missions, making money, and especially co-op multiplayer. Based on what i have played from the story though i can say that Arno is a funny guy. He is sort of like Ezio back in AC2. The story i heard it's good and from what i have played it seems to be getting good. Im not going into detail because i aint going to spoil anything. GRAPHICS: Great! Better than Black Flag and it seems that in a few more years the games will actually look like their cinematic trailers MULTIPLAYER: Ive never really been a fan of AC multiplayer mode but now i am. All i play is co-op. Its really fun. especially with Mics and people that actually want to play not just mess around. PROS: Enemies are harder Huge City along with smaller cities like in AC2 Addicting Lots to do Character customization Lots to do Addicting CONS: Swords, guns, armor, etc are expensive! Addicting OVERALL: This game is beautiful. You wont be disappointed unless you are expecting it to be Black Flag Part 2: Back to the Jungle. If you love all AC games you will like this one. I honestly dont see why the hate on this game besides the performance issues during the launch. If i paid $60 dollars for my copy id say it's worth it. Luckily i got it for $30. Whatever i would of had paid i know id still be happy with the game. P.S. I made a group if you want to join its called "Spartacans" and the tag is "xVKx" stands for "Victorious Kings" lol everything else was taken and this is the best i could find. GamerTag: da-dank-ka-shank i also play FIFA 15 and i am in Division 2 if anyone wants to get beat.
