The feeder itself offers beautiful views of the birds, and my cat gets to jump up and try and scare the food right back out of each bird who takes advantage.I recommend taping the tray closed if you have anything other than birds trying to get into it. A squirrel kept trying to swing its body into the tray to eat, but the tray just fell out and cracked slightly after the third or fourth time. With a bit of tape, the tray doesn't move unless I want to clean it.
