They are the first 'bone conducting' phones I have tried. I researched for about 2 hours before choosing this low price model.I set my expectations based on the cost and the aforementioned research. Please note that I have never tried this technology before.I was pleasantly surprised.These have been used mainly for PC games and the odd you tube music session.The sound quality is adequate - not sufficient if you want Bose style base and perfect reproduction across the range.If you do, you'll need to pay for it - and perhaps consider the more 'traditional' earbuds/headphones that actually go inside/cover the ears. Both are no for me.These phones are unobtrusive and light; they remain comfortable after several hours of wear. I have found myself positioning the speakers more towards the fleshy part of the front of the ear, just above the lobe, as opposed to the upper jawbone itself. This gives me better sound quality.Battery life is around 5 hours while in use. So if you're into 10 hour gaming sessions you have 2 choices. 1/Buy a spare pair, or 2/ Reduce to 5 hour gaming sessions (it'll probably be better for your health anyway).There is a warning tone about 10 minutes before the battery runs out.When charging a small light changes from red to blue when the job is done. I haven't checked how long this takes, as I charge it last thing at night and the light is blue in the morning.I must give a round of applause for ease of use. An underrated category in my opinion. Every time you switch them on the phones pair up very quickly, with a robotic female voice saying 'paired' (unsurprisingly) at volume a good deal higher than normal so you can hear it before you put them on.Same when you switch them off (except she says 'powering off', I know - staggering).It's a good idea to do both these things when the phones are not on your head, as the volume disparity can be quite large.The sound has not once dropped out, not the case with some of my previous 'bluetooth' purchases.There is a small instruction leaflet supplied, which is clear as far as it goes, though a magnifying glass may be of benefit to some.The seller drops you a line after receipt to see how you're getting on.Little things equal an extra star . . In summary I am very happy with these - but as I said they are my first. (the first lover is always best you ever had. . . . until maybe the 2nd)! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Two years of faithful service *by K***Y on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on 17 June 2021* I'm here to buy a second pair of these "headbones", as I had nothing but good things to say about them... right up until one of the speakers just dropped out a few days ago.Frankly though, I can't complain; two years of competent and capable quality for half the cost of many of the better-known brands is more than I would've expected for the price. I had a different set before these and they were pretty awful - they would drop the BT connection the moment I put my phone in my pocket, plus they looked like Frankenstein neck-bolts attached to my temples. These ones are more comfortable and streamlined, which looks a lot less silly!The moisture-wicking is not so great - I usually found a lot of sweat on the contacts when I took them off, but then I am one of those people who sweats on a winter's day so perhaps I'm asking more than most from them.All in all it was actually pretty sad when the contact-speaker just dropped out of the frame after two years using these as my frequent headphones - while I don't go running or cycling or anything, it's still good to have awareness of my surroundings while walking around town (for crossing roads etc), so these were good for everyday wear and served me well as such.And after two years of good internal walking music for little more than 30 quid, I can't be too upset about buying a replacement pair now. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good product for the price if you understand its limitations *by D***G on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on 17 April 2019* So lets be clear from the outset, these are bone conduction headphones so by design they are not going to be a headphone replacement, nor are they going to have amazing quality. If you want that get some proper headphones.So I bought these to enable me to cycle, listen to music but still be aware of my surroundings and for that they do a good job. I took these our for a test ride today, the audio quality is similar to listening to some passive wired christmas cracker speakers, but that is because they are bone conducting. Even with them turned up to max I was able to ride and hear my music over a 30km/h headwind when cycling.I ride predominantly in rural areas so traffic is pretty infrequent and to me it is essential I hear it come because a lot of roads a narrow and potholed so I have to move to allow cars to pass or avoid getting flattened by oncoming traffic, with these I could still hear cars early enough to give me plenty of time to move out the way when required. When getting overtaken by heavy agricultural equipment of big lorries then the noise of those would drown out the music.Comfort wise as other people as other people have mentioned the strap around the back of your head is a little long, but I am not sure it could be shortened as it also pushes the bits that go over your ears in to your head ensuring good contact for the conduction to work.
