The biggest advantages are that it's very easy to install, doesn't take up much space, and can reach speeds of up to 5 mph. The motor runs quietly, and the unit feels sturdy and durable for everyday home use. My only complaint is the power plug. The prongs don't seem very sturdy, and one of them—the middle prong—broke off and became stuck in my outlet. Fortunately, the treadmill still works, but it's definitely a quality issue that should be addressed. Overall, I think this treadmill does exactly what it's supposed to do for home use.
